  4. Hey everyone, I got accepted 10/20/2020. I would like to share my stats/tips for future applicants. Pre-reqs GPA: 4.0 Undergraduate GPA: 3.76 Overal GPA: 3.76 TEAS overall: 82 Preference: Bachelor's degree and CNA certified My TEAS score wasn't high like other applicants but I think what got me in was my essay and experience. Tips: Should you apply to other programs? Yes, and I know it can be expensive but it should atleast give you many more options to have. Alot of the programs here in Houston/Texas have similar pre-reqs. I am going to list a few programs: ADN programs: Lonestar and HCC (these programs you can always transition from BSN later) BSN programs: TWU, Sam, UTMB, UThealth, Texas tech Essay: There were many students who got in with the GPA or TEAS being low (please don't feel discourage). Please put effort into your essay which is important. It allows the admission to get a good understanding of who you are. Entrance exam: Give yourself enough time to study and to retake if you need to. When applying you must reach the school minimum requirement. A lot of schools have a minimum requirement if it isn't shown on the website please don't hesitate to ask the school minimum requirement. Schools that offer CNA, PCA, and etc. : Lonestar, HCC, PIMA, sugarland institute (the prices can vary) CONGRATS everyone who got in!

  6. @Affi I think in the email it says it should be submitted before class begins. After your fingerprinting, it would take a couple weeks to receive the blue card.
  7. @Affi congrats ?, I recently got accepted as well but haven’t received the email from the BON or for the fingerprinting.
