@Knneiko @SC1997 ahhh I really hope we’re able to have in person classes in January! Online classes always make me so nervous!

@Mbl19 I ended up doing the same, but with Coast CPR! I was hoping to take the class in person, but the online version wasn’t too bad. The instructor was able to get me in so fast. I’m happy I can check that off my to-do list!

@bitter_betsy Thank you! I'm looking at the in-person AHA classes, but I'm having trouble finding one that fits with my work schedule. Do you know anyone who has done the online learning, then the in-person skills check off?

Between the Red Cross and American Heart Association, which do you recommend for BLS certification?

@Knneiko I wouldn’t be too nervous about your grades! A 3.7 cumulative is very high and your science GPA is pretty good. I have an average cumulative GPA, but my prerequisite GPA and science GPA are much stronger. I don’t have healthcare experience whatsoever, but I do have volunteer experience at MUSC, shadowing hours, and a bachelors degree. I’m trying hard to not compare myself to other applicants, because it seems so individually based!
