Yay! I got my acceptance to Normandale! I will be declining inver and Anoka so hopefully that helps some of you on the waitlist!

I emailed the nursing contact at Normandale and she sent me the lowest accepted score for the last 10 semesters. I don't know if other schools do that. But normandale was around 11.6, with the highest score needed at 11.84 one semseter.

Ugh! That has been my biggest fear in applying to the programs.

my letter is being delived today by 2pm, the usps alerts me to what is being delivered each day and I have a normandale letter coming today. CONGRATS ON GETTING IN!!!

@roseflush did you get into century? Is that your first choice or is Inver?

I have a service with the usps where they scan copies of letters they are delivering to me today. There is a letter from normandale out for delivery today to me!! Now I just have to wait till 1:30 when my mail comes!

I got my acceptance to inver! My app was missed the first time. Still waiting on Normandale’s letter which is my first choice .

If Normandale is sending out letters this week, per the earlier post, that means they would be going out today at the latest because all schools are closed Thursday and Friday. Hoping that means we get them soon!! Just my mind spinning, waiting for a letter in the mail!!

Just checking my mailbox everyday for the Normandale letter. I spoke to Normandale on Oct 1 and they said they will not be emailing, will be mailing mid to late October. Really hope it is mid and they come soon. I don't want to bother them again, but really want to ask how close they are to sending them. Could be weeks, could be tomorrow!!!

Hopefully the ones who lose their acceptance, get right back in from the waitlist when some people choose another school. What a terrible feeling to lose your acceptance. I can’t believe this happened twice to you, @rachy1812

I saw someone posted an acceptance from IHCC with an 11.625, so @Kelsey Rower you should be good with your 12!

My counselor just got back to me and she said TEAS scores did not pull into the files correctly. They need to recheck every app now to make sure the score that pulled in is the correct score for that app and the ones who didn’t pull in, are pulled in. This is so crazy! @rachy1812 you said your TEAS was missed at inver, so you should be considered now with the recheck! Did they email you an apology and say they are rechecking your app?

I got the email from Inver to, but I was one of the people whose application was missed due to an error in their system. So I never got an email, they never saw my application. They apologized for the error on their part and said they are re reviewing all apps. I have an 11.69 which I think would have been accepted based on some of your guys acceptances. I also saw another girl on here had her application missed as well. I wonder how many were missed. I’m glad they are rechecking the apps, but I am so sorry to you who had an acceptance to celebrate!

I’m going to try calling inver now, still no responses from my emails. But I see someone on here got into inver with a 11.625 and my score is an 11.69 so I’m hoping I am in and all is good. But super nervous on no email.

No I sent a follow up email 30 mins ago asking if my counselor heard anything on why I didn’t receive and email. Still waiting for a response.

Just talked to normandale. They are not emailing. Will come in the snail mail mid to late October. ?

I sent my counselor an email and she responded that she is checking with allied health on why I didn’t get an email. I took my TEAS at inver hills so that shouldn’t be a problem. Hoping there isn’t some other issue.

Sorry on the waitlist Ashley, have you heard from your other schools you applied?

Normandale is 44 spots. They normally have around 200 applicants.

Normandale is my top pick. Much closer to my home. Doing my pre reqs there and love it. What about you katiejoy86

Just got my anoka acceptance! So I am for sure going to nursing school!! Waiting on inver and Normandale!
