My OTS date just got moved to February 23rd, but my assignment is still JBER ? see some of you friends there! Relieved that I have a little more time to move ?

Oh my goodness! So yesterday I talked to my recruiter and apparently there is an issue with my scroll still pending so I should hopefully have orders by Tuesday or else I will be pushed to the Feb class I guess. I wonder if it's an issue with all the nurses?? I hope at least you get orders by Tuesday!! Fingers crossed!

I hope you don't have to be away from your baby for too long! thank goodness for your husband, LOL. and oh my goodness, that's insane! I was intending to ship my car, they don't recommend driving across rural Canada alone in the Winter LOL. So if I have to rent a car or something when I get there I guess I will! Not sure what a time estimate will be. Just hoping for those dang orders soon so I can start figuring some of that stuff out!

No quarantining for me, just coordinating my move to Alaska from St Louis which might just happen at the last minute. And I live alone so no one really here to help once I leave for OTS, might be making one of my friends my POA LOL. I will let you know if I figure it out with the certificates! I'm just now setting up my login for the precourse stuff.

I finally got the WINGS email today which was great, but still no orders for me either! Hoping I get them soon so I can contact TMO and get going with arranging my move hopefully (but not likely) before 5 Jan.

I went ahead and sent an email tonight. I totally agree, never hurts to ask! Currently single and no dependents but looking into Alaska and not feeling optimistic about my options, LOL. Also just stressing about not having orders and having to figure out how to coordinate moving technically OCONUS now, shipping my car, etc... all in just 4.5 weeks. This will be an adventure for sure!

I found out both today! I was getting texts from my recruiter while I was working so it was kinda crazy LOL. She said she found out both today and that my assignment was listed on the ots roster somehow. I'm going in as a clinical nurse! Going to get uniforms on Monday! It's all getting real!

Oh my gosh, that’s crazy! To me it sounds like they also select who goes sooner based on the needs of the Air Force, which makes sense since I saw you had said earlier you are trauma and they have those needs. With me being a clinical nurse applicant, it makes sense for me to not get the spot!! I’m sorry your communication has been so poor!! At least they sent that email so you know you’re actually going!

My recruiter told me that there were only two spots open in January so I’m assuming you two got them!! She had told me to prepare myself to leave in Jan but now I’m thinking it’ll be Feb or March if not later.

Just got word from my recruiter to “expect leaving in January” and that she will be sending forms later today...and now I’m only slightly panicking LOL. That’s so soon!

I was not given a date. My recruiter said it would probably take a while to get a date. ??‍♀️ I’m hoping for February or March but we shall see!!

Ugh! This is not what I like to hear LOL. But I agree, much of what I found online at least is that results tend to be delayed. What gave me hope is that my recruiter told me last board they actually came out on time (which she DID say was unusual....) but that gave me too much hope that this round we would find out on time too. Darn! I’m glad your recruiter is on the same page. I’m hoping for tomorrow then ? this is teaching me to have more patience for sure.

Just texted my recruiter because I’m impatient and she said no results today and no word on when they will be released, just “soon.” ? ugh!

I spend my free time over analyzing previous year’s message boards, fb pages, etc just trying to determine my odds. LOL. I am hopeful for us all to get in and for there to be spots for all of us! I ended up picking up overtime shifts every day this week so I’m not sitting at home on my phone just stressing out about this every day!

I submitted my package for this board for clinical nurse and flight nurse! I’m excited and nervous...it’s been a long road to get here. Come on November 12th! Good luck to you all!
