I applied end of March but haven't heard anything about interviews. How long after applying did you hear about an interview?

Acceptances went out! Anyone start a facebook group? I was accepted!! I am super excited!

World Religion is taught at Dallas community college. It’s under philosophy department. while I have seen bible based as Dallas community college I was unable to ever find it for the semester I wanted. so I recommend Wtamu self pace bible course. It’s not as cheap as cc but it’s only $699. Which is a pretty good price and beats all the other schools I looked at offering a bible course.

Fingers crossed another wave is coming!

I spoke with my advisor today and she informed me that all spots have been sent out and the admission committee is meeting here in a couple weeks to offer a waitlist. Now I’m not sure if all spots offered meant all students were notified or if they still need to let them know. I just thought I pass on the information that I found out. She said they received a ton of applications for January start date. So in case you do get waitlist/ or not accepted do not give up, and you might be pushed to August 2021 start date!

If it helps I was accepted but I applied in April. I originally was shooting for August term but they wanted 7 courses from me and with being a mom and full time I was like never going to happen LOL. You guys will probably hear soon. It is very true the first round of acceptance letters were last week on Thursday.

Finding the religion classes are hard. World religion is offered at Dallas community college under Phil. As for the Bible course you can take it at APU for $900. mclennan has a bible course that’s accepted at Baylor but they only offer a 16 week course Phil Religion 1 so that’s not an option if trying to start Jan since the course has begun. It’s a cheaper route. Unfortunately the advisors didn’t give me any advice on where to look for courses I found the McLennan one last week. And confirmed it would Work but it was too late to enroll.

I have a 3.5 GPA, was missing 7 prerequisites, just finished 4 of them and am taking history, two religion courses this fall. I had volunteer hours at a hospital for the past 3 years. I was just accepted last week! Im sure you’ll get in! I think they send out acceptance letters and give ppl two weeks to accept, so then they can give out more seats after this first round.

Attached is the curriculum for fall 2020 my advisor said it should be somewhat similar except when we go to campus it will happen around week 4. She said clinicals haven’t been affected thus far. I was accepted last week! Curious to know if you all wonder what will happen with clinical? I know some nursing friends at the Austin community college program and their clinicals have been put on hold. also im just missing religion courses, anyone take them elsewhere thanAPU? Trying to take these two courses cheaper that $900. I found world religion at Dallas college but I’m waiting on approval for the Phil course to fullfill that one.
