I have had both doses at this point! It makes me feel better knowing I have a little bit of protection going halfway across the world. However, the 2nd dose was a doozy and hit me really hard. I am happy that I was able to get it when I did and not so close to training! I had fever/chills/body aches for the first 24 hours but had crazy exhaustion and headaches for 2 weeks afterwards

Yay so exciting! My recruiter also confirmed that there was no accession bonus for ER this year.

I also got my OTS date today - going in February as well! Excited to meet some of you! My assignment is Wright-Patterson!

I put OCONUS as well! My husband is doing a short tour in Korea and then is slotted for Germany afterwards so we just wanted to try and keep it the same but we shall see what happens! We don’t have any dependents, but you are correct with the EFMP. If they have needs that can’t be met/supported then they won’t send you there. Hopefully we all find out some info soon!

OMG 2017! How crazy! We have been here in Hawaii since 2017 as well - but with our family in Massachusetts we are awfully far away. My husband has a unaccompanied tour to Korea coming up and then is slotted for Germany so we will see what happens for us! We go through the same feelings as you, I’m sure. It is a constant internal battle hoping where we end up next! I really hope you find out soon!

That is so insane that you don’t have that info yet! I can’t imagine the unsure feeling you are going through - you’re a rockstar! Are you guys hoping to stay at your current base?

I also have a new recruiter now that I’ve been selected - IDK how much I like it! I wish I could have the person I was comfortable with LOL ? my new guy hasn’t given me any new info. My old recruiter gave me my info about my delayed scroll yesterday and also said his goodbyes ?? So I will have to figure out my new guy now

Yay Andrew’s! That’s the top of my list for CONUS bases - did you want to stay CONUS? Also, do you know if they have an updated OTS class list? The only one I have seen on the OTS website doesn’t have April listed as a class date. It would be nice if they added one in!

A scroll is congressional approval that all officers receive before commissioning! My recruiter was saying it’s called a scroll cause back in the olden days it was literally a scroll LOL ? I’m assuming it’s a little more high tech and sophisticated by now but they seem to be taking forever so maybe not ?

He said he can see mine got to headquarters 9/9 and has been “pending” since that time. But same timeline with the other girl in my region as well! So hoping for something soon - he said in his experience on average scrolls take 6ish weeks. It has been almost 12 LOL ?

My recruiter called me yesterday and said that my scroll was still pending so we’re hopeful for February or March. He said another girl from my region was pending as well. However, another girl from my region does have her scroll complete and is also going to the January class. So I wonder if that’s all what we’re waiting for!

I have not heard anything either! Hoping for soon though. I can’t believe they are still just notifying people that will attend the January board. I know everything moves quickly but people gotta plan LOL! I did my fingerprints the day we were selected and finished my background check stuff when I submitted our stuff to the board. I have only signed a few forms here and there since selection but wishing things would move along!

I was told it might take a while to receive a date as well. My husband is also AD and they said joint spouses sometimes take longer to receive assignments. I hope it isn't too long though - I want to get this show on the road ?
