Hey! It doesn't pop up as a charge to the account, you have to create it yourself (which is weird to me but whatever) by hitting the deposit tab at the top and filling in the drop down menus with your term and type of deposit. I'll set it up this afternoon so we can all add ourselves!

Hey! No worries, they didn't send any instructions. I found these instructions on the UTHSC website and followed them: https://www.uthsc.edu/admissions/application-fee-deposit.php Basically you log into the financial account program and select the "deposit" tab, then select a seat deposit for Spring 2021, then just pay with a card or e-check (the card comes with an additional fee, so watch out for that). Hope this helped! Also I haven't seen any posts about a facebook group for our class, but I'd be open to starting one if that's something people would want!

Yeah! I sent my paperwork in this past Thursday and got an email from financial aid on Friday (can’t see it yet because I don’t have a student ID but at least it’s there)

I’ve lived in Memphis for about two years, it’s definitely a town where one block is fancy houses and the next block is sketchy apartments, so keep that in mind! As far as places to live near campus, definitely check out the Victorian Village area, it’s close to campus and pretty safe. If you have a car generally anywhere in Midtown is 5-10 minutes away from campus; I personally have lived in Cooper Young and near the Broad Ave Arts District and loved both of those areas. I also have some friends that live in East Memphis near the U of M, which is farther away but has a lot of different shops and apartments in a walkable area. I’m not too familiar with the options Downtown, but I know there’s plenty of apartments in that area and they tend to be priced a little higher than other neighborhoods. Hope this helped!

My interview went well! It was also about 30 minutes. The interviewers were lovely and I'm excited to hear back. I was told that their selection committee is meeting this week and we should hear by the end of the month- did anyone else get told this timeline?

Oh good, I feel the same way. I think they're probably doing a batch email on Monday since it's the 31st.

Has anyone received their invitations to interview? It says we're supposed to receive them by the 31st but I haven't had any communication after that initial timeline email. Just trying to gauge whether I should still be hopeful or not LOL
