  1. @amoore21 I had a 3.0 science GPA, 3.4 overall, and 89 on the TEAS. I also did volunteer hours at a peds clinic. Goodluck with everything you can do it!
  2. @Heley01 I took the exam twice in a year and they're completely different questions. I thought my first attempt was harder for some reason. It asked a lot of Chemistry while my second attempt asked 0. Just study for everything! Mometrix book will adequately prepare you. :)
  3. I was accepted for January 2021 today! Can’t wait to meet y’all ?
  4. Is there a waitlist/rolling admissions? If anyone in the first 120 or so get admitted and give up their seat?
  5. I was on the waitlist for GGC for 2 weeks and got a denial letter yesterday. I guess maybe the class is officially seated for 2021... so hoping to hear from KSU soon
  6. Do y’all know how many are accepted for traditional?
  7. Did you get into GGC? And no haven’t received anything yet from KSU
  8. Hi! I applied with a 3.4 and an 89.3 on the TEAS. Hoping they see my recent grades which are all As in Chem1/2 & AP2. didn’t do so well in my classes when I was in school 2017. But fingers crossed! Did anyone else apply to other schools besides KSU?
  9. I’m not sure yet, I’m still waiting for my letter to come in. The past 3 years I’ve made it work & I’ve been working at a place that has let me pick up shifts whenever I wanted/needed to. So I’m blessed to have a job like that where I can work on my “less busy” weekends of the school year. But I know nursing school is a huge commitment & also I have talked to people who were able to do both full time! All about time management! Good luck on the TEAS!
  10. Do you know anyone else who hasn’t heard back as well?
  11. Anyone else hear back anything? Still haven’t received an email.
  12. Seems like in waves. I heard they replace the next candidate with whoever denies their acceptance to GGC. Hopefully we hear something today before the weekend ??
  13. My friend who is in the Mercer program has a girl that got her acceptance to GGC today. But she won’t be attending since she’s at Mercer.
  14. I’ve heard some people got notified today? Anyone else? I haven’t gotten an email.
  15. Your stats are awesome!! I believe by October 1st. Could be any day now ??
  16. Anyone else super anxious to hear back next week? ?
  17. It was through ATI but I took it at the GGC testing center! Hope you got it all figured out
  18. No problem & Good luck!
  19. Actually I’m not sure if that email is working on my phone right now. So try [email protected] !
  20. Yes of course! my email is [email protected]
  21. I swear by the Mometrix black and yellow study book. They also have an online TEAS study course on their website that came with the online book, videos, flash cards, and 8 practice tests. I believe it was $70, but for the amount of info and practice tests, it was worth it. I found that taking practices tests versus sitting down and reading the study book was more beneficial. When I just read the book I scored a 77 my first attempt. I was able to score an 89 when all I did the week prior was do practice tests and crash course videos. The math questions were identical to the ones Mometrix gave. Math is NOT my strong subject at all and that book really showed you what you needed to know. Lots of converting percentages and fractions & Adding/subtracting fractions was a majority of the section! For reading, knowing the difference between writing styles so.. expository, narrative, persuasive. Asked a lot of questions like what happened first in the text, what’s the main idea. Practice is all I did. Key is to pace yourself! Do not underestimate the English portion. It’s the last portion so your brain is already tired from sitting through the 3 prior sections. Take your time and really read the questions. Know different between complex, compound, compound-complex sentences as well as meanings of given prefixes and suffixes. don’t be scared of the TEAS! It’s so doable. I thought I would fail my last attempt but practice is really the key. You’ll be able to know your weak spots and refer back to the book for that help. Best of luck! ?
  22. Thankfully I scored an 89.3! 85/97/87/87 my GPA is lower from classes I got C’s in freshman year 2016(AP2 & micro) Hoping they see I got As in all my Chemistry’s & AP2 last school year ??
  23. @Kenzie2k0 I’m nervous because I took it a month ago at home through proctorio and the only section I failed was English ? it brought down my whole grade!! I don’t want to ruin my last chance for the year! Are you ready?
  24. I’ll be applying for Spring 2021 and take my TEAS for the second time tomorrow!
