I just got out of epic training and there is so much information! I have no idea where to start once I get on the floor. When you start your shift and look at your patients chart, what are the top 5 things you look at first?

I got my offer letter from the hospital. It states : “Your base rate of pay will be $25.50. If you work during the hours of 3pm and 7am, this rate will increase by 15% for shift differential.” If I work 7pm-7am( night shift), will I get the 15% differential? I'm just a little confused on how they worded it.
