Hey @Nikkit917!! I understand exactly how you are feeling right now!! I was in your very shoes just last semester, as everyone was receiving their acceptance emails. Email went out on Friday afternoon in the 4 o'clock hour. If I'm being straight with you - if you didn't get the email you didn't get accepted. I remember wishing there was a denial email, just to calm my anxiety and anticipation that "maybe, my email is coming later." But instead, I did received a rejection letter via postal mail. My TEAS score was 78% and my GPA was about 3.7 (or somewhere around there, depending on how they calculated it). However knowing each others stats, won't really justify why you did or didn't get in. At least not with Monte, as they don't solely check for high test scores and high GPA's. There are still some schools with deadlines that haven't passed yet or have rolling admissions. Check out Hudson County Community College (NJ), Helen Flud, Jersey College, and Monroe College. Nevertheless, don't give up love, keep pushing! And that goes for anyone that didn't get the email! You didn't get it this time but you'll get it next! Don't give up, you come this far!! We're all chasing this dream - the Nursing School journey is very trying and challenging, it important to keep eachother going! This field needs us ALL! ? For all those that received the email CONGRATS again!! Can't wait to meet you all in the fall. Lets us this platform as a resource for one another and/or a way to communicate over the next 3 month as we're approaching the big start date! ☺️

Yeah! Covid changed everything. It might work in your favor though, if you’re applying to other schools. Must of them use the TEAS test.

@Criza They will calculate the GPA with the prereqs/coreqs that you have taken thus far. If you haven't taken any prereqs at all they will use your highschool GPA. No sad faces, we've got this! ?

@sja22 They calculate their our GPA by taking all of your prerequisites/corequisites course(s) and calculate the GPA of those grades. That GPA has to be at least a 2.75.

No, I wish! It was the front desk that informed me. They had no idea how the admissions board will go about making their selections.

Hey! ? I too am applying to MSON Spr2021 semester. I heard the Kaplan exam is cancelled due to COVID. I'm going confirming that when I stop in to drop off my application. Anyone know how the program is? Is it a good school/program?
