I’m sorry but you can definitely try for Winter! I was not qualified for the lottery drawing due to missing the CNA. I’m still waiting for the clinical but I got an email from my CNA program today and it looks like they are not doing any clinical till 2021?! So not sure what I’m gonna do. I need to start looking for a job again as NAR or something. ?

Ohhh yeah.. you are right.. there will be more people in the Winter drawings. I didn’t think about it that way ? I can’t wait any longer ugh so frustrating. LOL. It feels like the nursing department is waiting till Sept 1st? To see who has the CNA and who doesn’t and do the lottery drawing from those who do??

So I read that Pearson vue will be open starting the week of 08/10th but guess not. I mean I guess thats kinda good news for us since that means there will be more students like us without CNA. ??

I did! It said the same thing that my initial application looks good but to work on my NAC. ? I just submitted application for Winter 2021 just in case. I wonder how they gonna work this out because like I said before, there are other people same boat as us (pretty sure). I’m planning to get the NAR but I think its still gonna be late for Fall 2020. ?

So I checked Washington DOH web, it states: Testing that resumes during the week of August 10 will begin with administration of the skills portion of the exam only. Testing for the written (or oral) exam will resume a few weeks later in a computer-based testing (CBT) format at Pearson’s third-party testing centers. Even if they do open, I’m pretty sure there are a lot of people waiting to take this test and I don’t think everyone will be able to get it done by Sep 1st. Ugh!

It would be great if they allow us to take the exam without clinical. At this point, I’m thinking if I should just wait or start finding a place where I could work for just a week. ?

So.. I just checked Pearson VUE web, and it says: Student must complete the state approved training program. If you did not complete a Washington state-approved training but wish to test, Please review the Washington Nurse Aide candidate handbook or visit the Washington website. Does that mean we can take the test without the training? So confused ..

I’m pretty sure there are others who are in the same boat as us and I’m actually thinking about emailing (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) but will see. Let just hope that there are other people who doesn’t have CNA ready like us LOL.
