For anybody who may be interested, I emailed the program asking them how clinical rotations are being affected by COVID. This was their response: "This fall we are scheduled for 240 hours of the 300 hour preceptorship to be direct patient care. I believe that is 80%. The Alabama Board of Nursing has been issuing guidelines each semester that allow flexibility if a situation changes with clinical partnerships." They said the hours that are not in-person are done in simulation labs. That's good news considering many schools are forgoing direct patient care rotations altogether in favor of sim labs. Does anybody know if classes are currently being held in person or online? I feel like I recall somebody saying that the campus is still open and classes are still being held in person..

I had transcripts from 3 different institutions. For 2 of them, I had official transcripts electronically sent to UAB through Parchment. For the other, I had the registrar's office mail it directly because they don't do electronic transcripts.

Basically, I'm good to relax until November 2. That's when the Admission Packet will be available to download. It will contain all the tasks and deadlines to complete before school starts.

Thanks! Yes, I had all my pre-reqs competed and graded before I submitted. And I submitted my application before the deadline of June 1, offered a virtual (Zoom) interview on June 24, did the interview on July 13, then got my admission offer last week on July 22. I think there were about 15 others that interviewed with me.
