  1. I'm glad u clarified! I didn't think that sounded right when I read the other comment about it. I was confused at first LOL
  2. Ahh okay. I'm surprised they said that! I know they usually always accept around 100 or little over every year but interview around double that some years. They interviewed a little less than 100 in the first round.
  3. They've always had big classes
  4. Where did you end up accepting at?
  5. Has anyone who was waitlisted in the first round of interviews heard back about their status yet?
  6. https://txwes.yuja.com/V/Video?v=455013&node=2010602&a=2052826950&autoplay=1
  7. There is a video. Headed home from work now and will see if I can post it from when I got it in October
  8. I had to identify what the rhythm was then tell what I would do about it.
  9. I got the first question and it was interpreting an EKG which led to treatment for it. Ton of cardiac questions and of course drugs and different drips I have personally used in ICU. Most of the interview was clinical with just a few personal questions like support system, how u handle stress, etc. Also had some math and logic questions
  10. Yeah I was worried about it being group and thought it would be awful but it went well. There was just one other student in mine. They would say who certain questions were for before asking so that we weren't talking over each other then for others they would say whoever wanted to answer could and then would let the other student(s) have a chance to answer the same question or add to it.
  11. If you got a group interview, it will be you with one or 2 other students and most likely just 2 professors.
  12. Pretty much 90% clinical. They jumped right in with cardiac questions right off the bat in mine. Covered disease processes and several drugs and hit other areas besides just cardiac.
  13. I'm not sure how they're doing it. The acceptance email said classes start in June. I was offered an interview before I got my health physical form submitted and was told to just have it in by the day of my interview. The emails they sent also said they would be sending electronic correspondence regarding the program, how to accept your seat and a checklist of anything you might still have to get done before starting classes next Summer. During my interview I asked about online classes and they said they had no plans to be online but that a few of the new classes that will make it a doctorate program might have to be online or be a hybrid. I saw an article today, though, saying ASU is moving their classes to online to finish out this semester and will continue hybrid or online classes in the Spring, so I'm wondering if that might change their plans any.
  14. Has anyone recieved any more emails from the school since the original acceptance email?
  15. Do yall have any idea of when they would tell us our assigned clinical site?
  16. Mine didn't have a deadline. It just said be on the lookout for more emails about being accepted and if there is anything still needed to be officially accepted.
  17. Yeah of course! I had one year CCU experience in May so it will be a little over 2 yrs by the time the program starts. I got my CCRN a few months ago and am currently taking the required chem class and will be done with it in 2 weeks. I thought it would show initiative to already be in a class when they interviewed me instead of waiting. My other background info includes a bachelors in biology and a masters in biology. Both had GPAs around 3.7. Then I have my nursing degree which was around 3.6 GPA. My GRE was a 305 with 4.0 writing. I also used to teach A&P classes at a local college for 2.5 years.
  18. Yeah texas Wesleyan was my top choice due to their reputation. I've had some people tell me to go by cost of living and the cost of the program but or course I'd rather pay more if the education is better
  19. I got baylor all saints which was 2nd on my list but I honestly just wanted any fort worth site so we wouldn't have to move twice. I just found out I also got into Arkansas state so now just gotta decide between the two..
  20. She said I got in and got a fort worth site!
  21. Oh yay!! Congratulations! I'm so happy for you! Since mine says awaiting confirmation too, should I ask about mine?
  22. That's what mine kept doing at first until I clicked on the apply link to create a new account. When I entered my info to create a new one, it recognized I already had one then sent a PIN so I could change my password to get into the new portal
  23. When I logged into mine it showed the application was submitted on Oct 28th and that my documents like that were transferred over on Nov 4th
  24. The PIN will be sent to the email address that you log in with. Yeah see what the new portal says and let me know, if you don't mind!
