  1. Hi all, I'm accepted into WHNP program for 2024. Some of our beginning classes will be together (with FNP). Nice to meet you all. Anyone else accepted into either program?
  2. Classes are going well. It started up a little unorganized but we’re getting it together. Everything is online for the rest of the semester. Lots of reading and Youtube but Assignments are manageable for now (we are only in our 3rd week). You just need good time management. Professors are nice which is a plus.
  3. Hey y’all, happy new year! I’m starting in Jan There’s a FB group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/309852277016579/?ref=share
  4. I received email that a decision was made on my portal
  5. Thanks guys!! congrats to those who got in as well! do you guys have any updates on the full tuition cost and the start and finish of the program?
  6. I just got accepted into the program!
  7. I have not officially registered for classes. I think the nursing dept makes our schedule for the program. They are holding mines until I complete financial aid process.
  8. Hey, I got accepted for Winter 2021 as well!
  9. $600 to hold the seat is due by Nov 13.
  10. Monday - Friday classes can be anywhere from 8a-8p. we don't get to pick our own schedules. It will be a hybrid method. some remote classes some in person classes.
  11. ohh thats interesting. is the program available in NY? @chempansy
  12. I didn't know they had a prelicensure program. How does that work? isn't WGU an online school?
  13. I attended the virtual info session last night and it provided good insight. However, Concordia isn't my first choice. I have to few other schools as well and im still waiting for response. It's the NCLEX rate and a good commute that made me apply.
  14. Was Concordia your first choice? how do you guys feel about all the bad reviews of this school ?
  15. I have not seen a forum yet and I'm not sure how to make a new forum but I just got accepted into Concordia NY for Spring 2021. did anyone else get accepted into this program for Spring 21?
  16. still waiting as well
  17. I agree to wait. I called a few times and got that same answer. All this waiting sucks.
  18. I'm still waiting as well
  19. Same I applied the day the application opened. According to ---------------------- the applications have to go to processing before it gets sent to the actual nursing committee. I verified that my application was just sent to the committee about 4 days ago along with “200+ applications” (--------------------- stated). I’m guessing my application took longer to process. IDK why but there’s still hope. We have until November 30 to hear back. Did you guys apply to any other schools?
  20. Congrats to those who got accepted, did your status change on the application portal?
  21. Congrats!! @BS18
  22. Nice, CONGRATS on your acceptance!! Once things get going for you, can you PM on how the program is going for you please, I’m curious to know if it will be a good fit for me. how soon did you get an acceptance from when you applied? how many people are in your cohort for Fall? how was your interview with the nursing dept? how is your cousin liking the progressive program and the school overall? did you apply to other ABSN programs?
  23. OMG I’ve been looking for a thread about this. There is not a lot of info on Monroe College ABSN program. This program VERY NEW, they currently have 1 cohort in session as of now. They have rolling admissions and there is no clear number on the amount of people they accept in each cohort. It seems very affordable when compared to other programs. I recently applied for the upcoming cohort but I haven’t taken my TEAS yet. They are accredited by ACEN which is good but I’m super iffy about it being brand new; especially since I can’t find substantial information or forums.
  24. Monroe College NY has a new ABSN program. Does anyone have any information on this program?
  25. Hey guys, I will be applying for Spring 2021. How is the program so far? Please share the pros and cons are of the program and the overall school. I would greatly appreciate it.
