  1. Hi Jordd, Honestly, my stats was not that great at all and I was accepted into the cohort evening at Catonsville for Spring 2021. My overall GPA was 2.84, sciences when calculated with that stupid CAS system was less than 2.5, TEAS was proficient, reading also. 79%. I think you’ll be just fine! Just keep working hard on your remaining pre requisites. ( I heard it’s good to have all the pre reqs done prior to applying, so that may have helped me) Anyways, good luck!! ;)
  2. I got in! Catonsville hybrid. Congrats everyone ?
  3. I definitely agree! Which is why I’ve decided to go the ABSN route. 25k cheaper and I can complete my masters online while gaining experience. For example, my husband is a Neurosurgery PA and makes the same if not more than most of his coworkers with his bachelors vs their masters. As I mentioned before though, everyone has different reasons for choosing their programs. Mine was scheduling and being able to keep my F/T Director position.
  4. I agree with @hopefulnurse1 that the program being a Master's program is what attracted me instead of obtaining 2 bachelor degrees. However, I decided on going with my second choice ABSN program because I'm able to keep my F/T job and complete school on the weekends and evening. I need the flexibility and I was told that we would have to be on campus at least 3-4 days a week. Unless things have changed due to COVID, anyone know what the schedule looks like now? My plan is just to complete the master's portion online now ?
  5. I wish! I haven’t even had an interview yet, so I really doubt it. I found it to be really weird, which is why I figured if any of you received the same email. *Which is why I figured I would ask if any of you received the same email?*
  6. The latest email I received was one from the @help from UnivofMaryland which told me to sign up for a student acct which gives me access to blackboard, etc. Anyone else had to do this?
  7. CONGRATS everyone!! Unfortunately, they still haven't updated my application, because my transcript was sent by mail instead of electronically.... :(
  8. So I'm sure they are sending everything for committee review next week. I just received an email stating that they were preparing all paperwork and wanted to send my application over for review but one of my transcripts has not been received yet :( Really hoping this doesn't delay my app!
  9. Hi everyone! I'm hoping to apply by the end of this week, waiting to finish one more class to bring up my GPA. I've been a respiratory therapist for over 12 years and Pulmonary management. I'm looking to open up more opportunities. Really hoping to get in, but my grades were not the best in college. Anyone know when they start to review applications?
