  1. Do not get discouraged. You are very young and you have already completed all the requirements to apply so it may not seem like a big deal but in reality you have already accomplished a lot. It took me over 2 years to get my classes completed because I was only able to take one class per semester and there's a lot of competition at my community college to get into the science courses. Try to work on the areas you may be able to improve your points such as your TEAS scores. You are really close to the cut off points for this cohort so if you can score higher on your TEAS start studying now and retake it so you reapply again with more points before the next application deadline. Best of luck !
  2. You should be able to call the Nursing Office at 559-730-3732. Wish you luck!
  3. I applied with 82.5 points TEAS 82. I wasn't sure if they were going to accept all the points/credits or if I calculated correctly. I'm happy it worked out. Stay positive!
  4. My letter was delivered! I have informed mail and the image wasn't included in today's mail so I didn't think it was going to be in my PO box so I was definately surprised. I am so happy because I got accepted! Good luck everyone !!
  5. I'm in Bakersfield. I hope I get mine by tomorrow.
  6. Thank you for the update!
  7. I went to check my PO box yesterday but didn't receive a letter. I will check again Monday afternoon.
  8. I wonder how many applications COS received for Spring.
  9. Congrats!! Did you already complete everything to start the program?
  10. Are you already in the program?
  11. I agree but I'm also super anxious now that I know letters have been mailed out.
  12. Good luck everyone! I hope we all get good news.
  13. Well Oct 1st was the day they had told me but really hoping they would be able to send out sooner.
  14. How does your sister like the program so far? I hope these next two weeks go fast and that we don't have to wait longer than that. I was only able to meet deadline to apply for this program so I really hope to get good news.
  15. When I met with the counselor at COS she told me to aim for points in the 70's. We don't have as many people on this post in comparison to the post on previous application periods so maybe not that many applicants for Spring. Stay positive and good luck to everyone ?
  16. Hi everyone, Just wanted to share that I was informed we will be notified about our application status via mail and their goal is October 1st. However, this date may be slightly adjusted due to delays caused by the pandemic.
  17. I hope you get a spot this cohort. You never know they may not get as many applications due to pandemic.
  18. CONGRATS! That's a really good score. I am applying at COS for the same reason.
  19. Hi. I mailed out my application yesterday. I used the electronic transcript option and only ordered one transcript to be sent to COS. Good luck on your TEAS. I took mine this week. I was super nervous but it was not as bad as I thought it would be.
