  1. Hi, I am a newly licensed RN and I have recently been invited to interview for Oncology and Med /surg as a new grad in what they call the StaRN program. I have been trying to start my career in the hospital since I passed my boards in November of 2019. However, now that the opportunity has presented itself I am unsure what to do because I am 17 weeks pregnant. The program is set to start in July and I am due in December. I notified HR when they reached out to ask if I was still interested about my pregnancy and despite that they would still like to interview me for a position. My question is if this is a good idea or if I should wait until after I deliver to try again. If I did wait though I will be past my 1st year of nursing and will no longer qualify for a new grad program. Any thoughts or advice is appreciated. Thank you!
