  1. Thank you! I really am thrilled about it. So they asked me some pretty common behavioral questions like: "Tell me about a time where you had a conflict with a coworker, what steps did you take and how did you resolve it?" "How do you take care of yourself outside of work?" "Tell me about a time when you received negative feedback from an instructor or supervisor, what how did you respond and what steps did you take to fix the situation?" and then at the very end, they asked me a question about prioritizing patients, basically, they gave me only one detail about each patient and asked me which I would see first. Hopefully, this helps!
  2. Hey everyone, I received a verbal offer about an hour after my interview with the ICU yesterday! Super excited! The interview process I felt was smoother and more organized then some of the other hospitals I applied to, and I thought really highly of the people I interviewed with. Overall it just felt like the "right" fit for me. I think that some of the locations and departments move at different paces when screening applicants so please don't be discouraged if you haven't heard anything back yet. Best of luck to all of you!
  3. Thank you! I'm hoping this means that you should also hear back from them too! I was offered an interview both for the ED and ICU at Arlington Memorial.
  4. Hey everyone! I applied last Thursday and got an email this morning to schedule an interview next week! Hopefully, they start reaching out to everyone fairly soon. Wishing the best of luck to all of you!
  5. Hey everyone! I interviewed for the acute medical track yesterday! There was a panel of about 6 people in the interview (it was nerve-wracking because I wasn't expecting THAT many people!) but they were very nice. It was mostly the exact same behavioral questions that Miah2045 mentioned above. Now we wait ? hoping to hear from them soon!
  6. CONGRATS!! Come join our facebook group!
  7. Yeah I saw that! I definitely think we should have our own so we aren’t annoying them ? If you type in “MNU ABSN Fall 2020 Cohort” it should come up, feel free to add yourself ?
  8. CONGRATS to both of you! They should send you an admission reply form soon. Worst part about it is putting down the tuition deposit ? I’m thinking of starting a facebook group just for the the fall 2020 cohort. Would any of you be interested?
  9. I GOT IN! I just got the email (surprised considering it’s a holiday). So excited to meet all of you! My name is also Sarah ?
  10. @SarahCawby Oh very cool that you are prior military as well! It's nice to know there are others ? Have you talked to MNU yet about the yellow ribbon program? (I'm assuming you're using the post 9/11 to pay for school).
  11. Hey everyone! I recently submitted my application in NCAS, and I'm waiting to hear back on if I got in for the fall 2020 cohort. The wait is seriously killing me! MNU's program sounds so awesome and I have only heard really great things about it. I live and work in Olathe, so if anyone has questions about the area feel free to reach out. The apartment complex that I live in now is affordable, quiet, and pet friendly! Would anyone be willing to share stats? I'm SO paranoid that mine are not good enough because I'm going up against other candidates with a Bachelor's degree. I have a 3.6 GPA, I have an associate's degree and am a prior military medic. I got an 88 on the TEAS. Hoping I hear back from the admissions department soon!
