im also in the same situation with private loans as my family can’t help me out and I am only able to save enough money for living expenses. As someone else mentioned the cost of the program as well as rent in philly is much cheaper than schools I looked at in NYC or Boston. Also, many many people have student debt and large debt at that. If you make your monthly payments on time and then some when you are financially able to make bigger payments, your student loan debt does not own you.

@Future.Derm.NP I would call if I were you though because I have until August if they do not accept any of mine, you are in a time crunch so I would see if they can give you some answers!!

I was accepted on 11/18 and paid my deposit on 12/2 so I will let you know if I hear anything in the next few days

at my college it was titled "Composition: Habit of Writing". I have no idea if they are accepting this as the English requirement or not because they have not done my transcript evaluation yet.

there is a facebook for the fall 2021 cohort that has a few people in it.. Like I said, it's super early!! when I moved a few months ago I was hoping to not have to do a lease per bedroom and find roommates ahead of time, but I was unable to do so and 100% do not want to do that again

I know its super early to be looking at housing, but I was wondering what people are leaning towards, on or off-campus? I rather do off campus as long as I find some roommates because the 1 bedrooms are a little pricey.

So I had 1 pre-req that I was taking from aug-end of oct. on 10/9 I received an email saying that my application was complete. I sent in my transcript for that pre-req once the grade came in and they received that on 11/11. When I reached out to ------------------------ a few days ago she said my application was complete 11/11 instead of the 10/9 date. So it is a little funky with application dates.

After the slight confusion with pre-reqs I got my acceptance today! Super excited and a little stressed about the cost of the program, but nonetheless stoked to be accepted. Good luck to everyone else and for those still applying and wondering about stats: Honestly, my GPA wasn't good so that did have me worried -- cumulative 3.0 (Biochemistry and minor in math for my undergrad) pre-req was like a 3.3. I think my extracurriculars really helped as I was a student athlete, member of a few clubs, member of my local Medical Reserve Corps and currently doing a year of community service through Americorps.

Don't mind at all! It was developmental psych, all of my sciences are complete. I took the course through Utica College from august-oct (8 week accelerated format). I don't know if it got a little tricky because I listed Utica as a college I attended but the dates attended were listed as august 2020-oct 2020 and as I said before, I sent in like a proof of course in progress and within the discover portal it said complete and an email on 10/9 said application complete as well.

I emailed her today as well and she said that my application date is now 11/11 because they are not complete until all transcripts have been received. I am confused though because I got an email from admissions on 10/9 stating my application was complete after I sent in a proof of course in progress for the pre-req course.

Hey all for those who are still taking pre-req courses, I had thought I turned in my application on 10/9 with the exception of my transcript from 1 pre-req course and was told my application was complete. That course finished the end of October, then I submitted the official transcript on 11/11. Today I was told my application was not complete until 11/11 instead of the 10/9 date that I originally received the email for stating it was complete so for those that have remaining pre-req's and have not heard back, this is probably why!

I'm currently in Memphis and a lot of people warned me about living here. So far I personally have not had any issues, a 7th grader at my school did unfortunately pass after a drive by shooting last week, but as long as you know the good parts of any city/ stick to the right crowd I think any city is what you make of it! Yes I am trying to be patient because I heard 4-6 weeks as well so I really hope I hear from them soon and you as well!

I haven’t heard back and my app was completed 10/9 with 1 pre-req that I was currently taking (it was developmental psychology so it was a non-science pre-req). I’m with you on it being my top choice but concerned about payment I plan on applying to HRSA nurse corps scholarship as I’m currently doing a year of community service in a high need area and love the work but the scholarship seems very competitive so other than that my plan is swimming or should I say drowning in loans, but we shall see

I completed mine about 10/9 and someone said that theirs was completed 10/6 and they already heard back so it does not seem like they are going in order of when applications were completed

I remember that someone had called admissions and they said 4-6 weeks for priority decisions, my application was complete on 10/8 I believe and I am still waiting on a decision. I feel you on the impatient and nervous end though! I really need to stop checking my discover Drexel like 5 times a day

Hey, I just finished lifespan so my course was in progress when I submitted my application and I just sent my registration status/ course in progress to admissions and it turned my x to a check mark.

Congrats! Mine still says under review/ no decision made yet so fingers crossed because if I get in, I will be attending

When I watched the virtual info session they have on their website it said about 150 are admitted into each cohort and thousands apply.
