Gonzaga Online FNP Fall 2020
Hi Jreynad and mikeandmeg2003! CONGRATS to both of you. I’ve heard great things about the program. I have a coworker a year ahead of me as well, and she has received straight As so far. She works part time at the hospital. I’m going to continue working full time for the entire program, if possible. It looks like the first 8 months or so are mainly MSN core classes, and then patho starts, followed by pharm, then all the NP classes. I think the first 9 months to a year will be more of the fluff classes, and then things will probably begin to be getting much more difficult, especially with time restraints (clinicals, work, etc.). I’m nervous, but I’m also excited!! I did find a facebook group for Gonzaga FNP students that has some helpful information too. CONGRATS everyone

Gonzaga Online FNP Fall 2020
I’m about 6.5 hours from the school and in Oregon! I also have a child, so I totally understand how this decision will impact your whole family. Good luck with your decision! I don’t know much about the other school you mentioned. Gonzaga has a reputation around here for being an excellent school, which made the choice easier to make for me. Plus, a lot of people from my hospital have specifically applied to Gonzaga with the aspirations of going there. It is a tough choice though for what’s right for your specific situation. Either way, CONGRATS on being in this position of being accepted to both! Good luck!

Gonzaga Online FNP Fall 2020
CONGRATS on getting accepted to both programs! I have not talked to graduates, but I talked to another student who is about a year into the program. She works at the same hospital as me. She loves it, and had nothing but great things to say. I’m already registered and getting prepped for the journey ahead. I live in the Pacific Northwest, but not extremely close to the school. It does have a great reputation where I’m from, and is considered a prestigious school to go. It’s definitely the top choice for most FNP hopefuls in the area in which I live, so I couldn’t be happier! I had considered a DNP as well, but I figure I’d rather just take one step and major commitment at a time. There are so many post-master’s DNP certificate programs, that I feel confident in obtaining that if it becomes required. I’m excited!! Let me know what you decide to do!
