Hi, I got accepted at Gwynedd Mercy Spring 2021 ABSN program and was hoping I could find out more information about the program here from maybe alumni??? Since there isn't a lot of information about the school I can find online.

well I just got my Canelink this morning and I tried to log in just now with the temporary password from my email, but it says my password has expired and to use my updated password??

hi guys I submitted my application on July 24th and still haven't gotten an email with my Canelink. I mean I don't really have much of a hope for an acceptance admittedly since my cumulative GPA is a little below 3.0 but damn I wasn't expecting them to not even look at my application.....

so I just got an email from one of my recommenders that the link to submit a recommendation on the mercy website isn't working. anyone else have this issue?

I am also planning on applying to Mercy from Spring 2021? But the application for that isn't available yet right?

So it takes a little less than two weeks for NursingCAS to receive all the official transcripts? I am wondering because I ordered the electronic transcript on there from my schools a few days ago and I was expecting NursingCAS to have received them by now.

so to people who got accepted, can I ask from whom in the nursing department did the acceptance letter come from? I feel like I should directly contact that person.

LOL my cumulative GPA is pretty bad so I was just expecting a straight up rejection tbh so I was like huh???? when I saw that subject title in my email and then I read it and was just confused. what should my next step be? should I contact admissions or nursing??

yes I just got that email. I understand. I thought I could take the HESI afterwards? IDK I'm really confused right now.

I also want to say I have not taken the HESI. I applied mid-April when the pandemic was at its worst in New York.

Hi guys, I got an email today about acceptance to Lehman but nothing about nursing. Is that basically a rejection for the nursing program? I'm confused then why they would send me acceptance to Lehman instead of just a rejection for nursing.

I've decided I'm going to apply anyways because the worst that can happen is that they reject me (which I'm prepared for LOL). I don't have anything to lose. With the amount of credits I've taken, I would need to take 27 credits with straight As to bring my GPA to 3.0 which simply isn't feasible for me at this point. Me getting in would be like winning the lottery LOL...but hey my nursing prereq grades are good and people DO win the lottery sometimes

no I was just a dumbass who was on a pre-med track in college and didn't quit and change to do something else when it was ruining my GPA. if I only had done an english major with nursing prerequisites....I could have easily 3.7-4.0 cumulative GPA RN, easily get accepted into a lot of nursing schools and had a much more fun college experience... oh well no point in ruminating on the past...whats done is done...

I'm starting to feel like I have no choice but to do extra easy classes to boost up my GPA and that sucks so much :(.

I just talked to the college recruiter and she said the school is pretty strict about 3.0 cumulative GPA. She told me they're accepting around 90 students for the Spring.

Can someone please tell me more about how good and legit Accelerated Nursing at Keiser is? I've already started filling out an application with them but some of the negative reviews of the school online have scared me. Especially since the school used to be for-profit. Unfortunately my cumulative GPA is 2.83, so Keiser is one of my only hopes for an Accelerated BSN. Please, any and all information would be hugely appreciated.
