@PurpleMouse0418 I believe Athens is at full capacity. We had our first meeting about two months ago. There were 38-40 students present just about. I think 40 is Athens capacity. I have no idea regarding Augusta campus!

@kfields1234 Thank you!! My nursing core GPA is a 3.9. I'm not sure if AU does that too. I know the other 3 programs I applied to does. My overall is a 3.4. I got a 90 on the TEAS. I used to be a biology major and HATED it. I'm 23 and a lot wiser now ha! Congratulations for getting in again! I wonder how long until everyone hears back..

@PurpleMouse0418Thank you!! It's a private program so I will go if I have to, but I am really trying to stay hopeful! I have definitely done a lot of praying for this so we will see.. @Nursingschoolhopeful21 Yeah, it's strange to me the cut off is so late comparatively to the other schools I applied to/ heard about. If going off of the trends of others, we should hear back within the next two weeks.

That's so weird... I completely agree. That's the boat I am in too. I got into another program that starts June 1st, but Augusta is my first choice! I just need to know so I can get things rolling here haha.. fingers crossed and prayers for us.

Has anyone been denied yet that you guys know of? I'm curious to see if they've sent those out yet or just acceptance ones! I finished my application and had everything submitted ( with the exception of one reference) in November/ Dec. AU contacted me about taking a graduation requirement test ASAP for them, which I didn't have to in the end, but that's the last I heard. I feel this completely with every ounce of my soul. Haha

Hey! I’m a pre nursing student in north GA. I originally was a biology major. I hated it. I had one bad semester where I failed two classes and made a C. Other than that, I’ve been an all A and B student. I have had to work so hard to get my GPA back to a 3.38. I just took my first HESI test and made an 85. I’m retaking in July to aim for better. I’ll be taking my TEAS then. Has anyone had experiences getting in with a lower GPA? Any advice on how to stand out? Prepping for HESI/ TEAS? Any GA nursing programs around the Athens area? Thank y’all in advance!!
