Hey I just wanted to message this cohort to ask about the first semester. How was it and what should incoming first semester nursing students expect? And did you guys use the textbooks at all?

Oh I see, now. I think that’s why as well because the people I know also have different dates then me and they’re alternates.

I believe orientation is on June 25th. I thought we all had the same orientation?

It was also my first time applying at GCC, luckily I got into COC but I do agree that the lottery system can be difficult to get into due to the high volume of applicants. I also recommend point systems. Good luck to everybody and keep trying!

Same, I took the TEAS in January and I haven’t heard from them.

When I used the sheet, I calculated about 76 points. 80% TEAS 3.95 Overall GPA 4.0 Science GPA Volunteer Experience 1 extra point
