I spoke to the advisor and he said once we get the program handbook emailed to us then we’d have 45 days after that to pay the deposit. I hope this helps!?

When I had my interview for the IE campus, my interviewer told me that all campus admission teams sit together and make decisions all at once together. She said this should happen late August and we hear back the first week of September. She said that she’s hoping it’s sooner than later. I was accepted in the 2+2 program starting this month and things are really messy. We don’t have a schedule yet and classes are in 2 weeks. We also do not get clinical first semester. With that, I am PRAYING that I get accepted into the ELM program so I can drop from this one because this program just doesn’t seem worth it.?

My stats were 3.38 cumulative and 4.0 sciences. I have my BA in education and have experience as a teacher as well as volunteering with children. I was worried my cumulative would bring me down, but they really do look at the whole picture. I applied for APU’s ELM program and had a 3.89 cumulative for that program. I even had the rep for the HD campus tell me I’m better off just sticking to that app, but I’m glad I still kept pushing for this one. Wishing you nothing but best on your nursing journey!

I received a phone call 1 1/2 weeks ago about some question in regards to my application and previous education. After that, I have yet to hear anything from the campus. I did have an interview for Azusa’s ELM program @ the IE campus and the professor I spoke with did confirm that the COVID situation has slowed the admission process down significantly.

Here is something I stumbled upon today in regards to Azusa changing their Fall semester plans to all online. It was posted two days ago, and I am sure interfering with acceptance decisions going out. Wanted to give an update in regards to my interview with the IE campus. Though my essay was not due until 8AM today, I had it completed last night, but had it scheduled for email to be sent in at it’s due time. The interviewer did not mention my essay. Other than that, she was so kind and warm. Questions asked: Why nursing? Why APU? What is the role of a nurse and/or nurse practitioner? Volunteer post-high school? Church involvement? Healthcare experience? What path do you plan to take on the program? My interview lasted about 45 minutes and was very comfortable and awesome. I hope my experience offers some type of insight into what could occur during your interview. Very best of luck to you all!

I have my interview for the IE campus tomorrow. My essay situation is a bit different. Along with interview link was an attached article. I was instructed to write a one-page response on the one-page article and have it emailed in tomorrow, and hour before my interview. I wanted to share my process, as it seems different than other campus applicants. Good luck to everyone!

Hello! I applied to the IE campus and still have not heard anything back yet. Anyone else hear anything from the campus about interviews? I have 3.8 overall GPA & 4.0 for my sciences.

Just an update for you guys! I just received a phone call with a woman from the HD campus. She was asking me a few questions about my application. THIS MEANS THEY ARE LOOKING THROUGH OUR APPS NOW! Yeah! She did not give me an estimate of when we should know if we got into the program, but at least we know they are making decisions. Nerves are going crazy! Good luck to everyone!

Nothing from Azusa yet, other than an email stating how the school plans on reopening for the Fall in accordance to COVID. I applied to the ELM as well (deadline was the same day as the 2+2) and I have not heard anything back for the program either.
