  1. I just finished my first quarter. For the most part I’ve had a good experience. The nursing classes for BSN are hard and extremely time consuming. If you don’t study you will not pass. I’m paying about 4600 a quarter, so per year you’ll probably pay around 20,000
  2. I did do my prerequisites. they said they’d send me a spreadsheet with my specific tuition tomorrow. im really hoping it’s closer to 46 because I would like to go there! Keisers BSN accelerated has a waitlist until 2022!
  3. Hi Selena ! I was told by a recruiter it would cost 40,000 total. Today I was told around 80,000 for two years. I am confused! How much did they quote you?
  4. Hi! Im currently in the process of deciding whether or not to attend Galen college in October. I found out recently that the accreditation (CCNE) for the bachelors program expires June 2021. Anyone know anything about the accreditation process and is it a mistake to go to a school that may or not remain accredited?
  5. Hi guys! I’m currently in the process of applying for Galen College of Nursing Tampa Bay campus bachelorette program. I recently found out the accreditation expires June 2021. Is it a terrible idea to go into a program without a for sure accreditation? Help!
  6. I wasn’t accepted with a 3.62. I emailed nursing saying some people were accepted with lower GPAs than that and they told me to give them names of people accepted with lower GPAs than that. I said no because that feels wrong. But I’m honestly confused.
  7. She was in cohort 1 ! There must be two cohorts with similar starting times?
  8. That’s what I hear! I wonder how they’ll do the hospital days with covid! I really hope we get to.
  9. Very true! It is 100 percent possible you have a great experience. I’ve had professors I didn’t especially “like” but my friends did.
  10. Probably! And I say this because I saw all the nights she stayed up legitimately all night doing homework. She also spent many days crying and having panic attacks. She passed the class but a few of her friends didn’t.. I would advise if you get her to really really suck up to her. Get on her good side. I would say her name but I don’t want to get in trouble or something. Also something her class did is started a group chat with everyone in the class on some texting app. It really really helped her!
  11. I have a feeling we’ll find out early next week! I hope we all get the cohort we want! If you chose Dale Mabry mornings, good luck ! My sister had her and she is really hard.
  12. If I offended anyone by saying “LOL” previously I’m sorry. But at this point it seems kind of petty honestly. If someone was upset at my comment earlier, let me know.. but please don’t mock me.
  13. You could always try. I would email them and say that they weren’t available when you applied. But yes def worth a shot
  14. You could probably protest their decision if it’s no then. Maybe try to request them now if it’s possible.
  15. They must have some program that can see what other schools you’ve attended. I never mentioned I had taken classes at two schools.
  16. I took one class at a different college which I didn’t send in, I forgot I even took a class there since it was online. I verified they had all my transcripts and they said they did. They didn’t. It was partially my fault. ?
  17. I applied for Spring. It wasn’t quite 2 months. I just looked and I applied august 15th and we all found out on October 2nd or 3rd. This was the email I received. You can appeal the decision if you believe it was their error.
  18. I also wanted to say when I applied it took almost 8 weeks to hear back. Hopefully it doesn’t take that long again!
  19. I hate to be negative but last year I didn’t get accepted because they said I didn’t submit a previous transcript that I had submitted. You have got to be persistent with admissions and try to get ahold of them to verify!
  20. I would also like to say that you have nothing to worry about. There is no reason you wouldn’t get in if your GPA is a 4.0. They do not use TEAS scores (unless you didn’t pass) to filter out students. Let’s save the worrrying for people who are on the cusp LOL
