I know this is from a year ago, but I don't see a thread for 2020. Did you get in? I just finished my freshman year at UT and I applied to internally transfer. My UT GPA is about a 3.62 and my science GPA is around a 3.1. (I made a C+ in chem 1 my first semester, passed p/f chem 2 this semester thanks to COVID, and made an A in bio this semester.) I made a 3.25 GPA last semester and a 4.0 this semester. I know I should have a higher sGPA, but I'm hoping it shows growth? I really don't know if I should get my hopes up or not. I find out in about three weeks if I got in. Do you know if they consider an upward trend? Also do you know what the acceptance rate is/how many people apply? I've looked everywhere online and all I found was a reddit comment saying about 5 in every 800 transfer applicants are accepted.
