San Diego new grads prospects and ratio
I am a new grad relocating to San Diego. I want to know how long it might take to land a job there without knowing anyone from inside. Also what is the nurse:patient ratio there. All the help is highly appreciated.

What should you know well from your pre reqs
Hi all I am starting nursing school in August. I am very nervous as I think i don't remember any of the pre reqs be it chemistry, micro or A&P. I would like to know in summer what should I brush up on. Micro or physiology? Does the faculty expect you to remember all the A&P stuff?Or should I buy the pharmacology book which is covered in first semester and start with it?Any help will be great

LVN/PN license withour SSN and with TIN
Hi suzanne, I am in california and have H4 visa and we have our green card applied for.I have done all my pre requisites for RN programme.I have applied in all possible community colleges but you know about the waitlist and the lottery system here.It has been 8 months now and I have applied twice already. The wait is killing me so I inquired about the LVN program.I donot need any visa but if I get license as LVN, I might get into RN transition program rather than just sitting and waiting. What do u think do u know if someone can take LVN licensure exam without SSN and with a tax ID number. Wanttobeone

LVN/PN license withour SSN and with TIN
Hi everyone, I am located in CA and an a foreign resident.I want to take LVN-RN route and was wonder has anyone given or knows about LVN licensure without a social security number and with a Federal tax identification number. I talked to community colleges and they would not give me admission in LVN course without a SS Number but i called the board directly and they told me that i can get licensed with TI Number but cannot work till I find employer to sponsor me. Does anyone know anything about it.Private schools will take me but if I won't be able to get license then it will be my problem clearly. I just want the license to get into LVN to RN transition and not to work. Thanks for your help Want to be one
