  1. I got the letter (via email) today as well! I've also been accepted into UMass Boston for Summer 2021 and now I'm really torn!
  2. I don't think there is a group yet!
  3. @Nurse1010 thank you!! I will private message you ? This is very helpful.
  4. @Nurse1010 thank you for your feedback about the program! I'm definitely going to start reviewing pathophysiology and pharmacology. Are you currently using any books that are helpful? I know we will receive resources on our iPads but would prefer to keep things consistent even if that means purchasing books before the start of the semester.
  5. Hi! I was accepted for the Summer 2021 cohort and am wondering about the clinical schedule... Do they give you a schedule in advance of which days you will need to be on campus or at your clinical sites? Thanks!
  6. I currently live on Revere Beach and work downtown at a hospital and the commute is very easy. I've also lived in Everett and Cambridge - Cambridge was by far the most expensive but easier commute. Everett and Revere have some nicer parts but also some not so nice parts so I definitely agree with @ryanc11 with checking out Google street view and looking at the surrounding Boston areas. If anyone needing to relocate has any area related questions or wants to discuss I am more than happy to connect and share my insight!
  7. I was accepted! I didn't get the email until this morning but my portal was updated last night.
  8. I emailed this morning and was told that my application was very strong but they had a lot of applicants and simply not enough seats. I was told that there isn't much I can do to "improve" my application but they did mention I could resubmit an essay and recommendation letters. Not the news I wanted this morning but I'm glad they make it easy to reapply!
  9. My portal updated this morning, I was not accepted. Good luck to everyone!
  10. RIGHT?! I check all the time. The tab is open while I'm at work and I refresh throughout the day ? I feel like it could update at any time!
  11. I spoke to admissions today, they said "expect a decision by the beginning of November". Also, I was confused on FAFSA as well so I submitted 2020-2021 FAFSA and the 2021-2022 FAFSA which just opened. You can fill out the FAFSA and put in the school and the information will be sent to the school - you can add multiple schools so I would put in any that you're applying to. Financial aid packages from the school will not go out until you've been accepted. When I was accepted to MCPHS it took a few weeks to receive my aid package.
  12. Mine said that the site was undergoing scheduled maintenance this weekend and whenever that happens I get the 'scheduled maintenance' page or the 'account not authorized' page. When that happens I logout and try again later and usually it lets me login... Not really sure why that happens!
  13. @IsabellaU We are so close! Hoping we hear soon, I'm so anxious. I hope they notify electronically and not just via mail...
  14. @IsabellaU Thank you for the info! I still check everyday knowing there won't be an update ?congratulations on getting into Northeastern! I didn't apply there but really considered it. I'm kind of regretting my decision to only apply to UMB this term. Does anyone know the starting rates for nurses in Boston?
  15. @JDanielle3687 That's exactly how I feel. I think working as an RN while completing the Masters makes the most sense for me but I am still considering the direct entry programs. A lot depends on whether or not I get into UMB. November seems so far for decisions haha I'm so impatient ?
