  1. So kind of a long post but I need advice! I’m a new grad and have been in the OR learning how to circulate for about three months now and it is not what I thought it would be. Because of covid I couldn’t really shadow before I started and I really thought I would love it. But honestly I feel like I’m a glorified transporter and opener of all things sterile. I really miss patient care and feel like I’m missing out as a new nurse. I did my preceptorship in the PACU and absolutely loved it. Should I try and transfer there or am I just missing something because I’m still new to the OR? Thank you in advance for any reply!
  2. I paid for the quick results because my BON is being slow and I passed!
  3. My official results aren't posted yet but when I did the PVT I also go the good pop-up so fingers crossed! CONGRATS on getting the good pop-up too!
  4. Hi! CONGRATS on graduating! I just graduated June 15th and took my NCLEX June 27th. I also used UWorld and Kaplan. I would say going in with confidence is huge! Just focus on one question at a time and try not to think about how you might be doing overall. Just treat each question like it is the most important one. If you feel yourself getting flustered or unfocused, take a couple deep breaths. It is very nerve wracking but try not to let it get to you. You've got this! Good luck!
  5. Hey all! I am a new grad about to start in the OR and was wondering what tips everyone has about the little things like what they put in their work bag, best shoes, little tricks they've learned, etc! And what you wish you knew starting out. Thanks!
