  1. OMG thanks ! yes I do have her LOL . My ig is @brownmuse
  2. Hey @msdecember31st ! any tips for the new cohort passing fundamentals ? How do you think you made it though ?
  3. I think the interview is pretty standard, I watched Youtube videos to prepare. good luck !
  4. MSN Ugh so I had my interview today which went really well but answered 2 of the math questions wrong and really bummed about that . I had some issues with receiving the documents so ended up having to rush when I did get them and made a mistake on the answers. Hoping they don’t put too much emphasis on that . Everything else went amazing. For those who have an interview please take your time and review before you submit !
  5. Finally I submitted my completed application last week! I hope I hear back about an interview soon. I was told I would hear before thanksgiving but assumed it would probably go past that just because it was a holiday.. aside from the regular interview questions did they ask anything else I should prepare for ? any dosage calculations ?
  6. Oh wow yay !! CONGRATS I didn’t even know they had a priority deadline . How was the interview? Any tips?
  7. has anyone finished their application yet ?
  8. there is an online info session I got an email for the other day.. hopefully the link works.. as @vgannursern20 said, ---------------------- is the go to person as far as questions and sending your transcripts. I think her best mode of contact is email. https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=CPRgiTwDREOWdmIIJ3rjUyecV2JFlXRAkYQy30D_lgZUNUMzSzNGVjdGQVhNSzUyWllMT0JUMUJQTS4u
  9. Hey were you able to attend the discover CDU event this past weekend?
  10. Yes please let’s keep in touch ! ESP for this application process.!!
  11. honestly I had to take it twice, science was a weak spot for me. Theres a TEAS app that was very helpful and free.. its called "TEAS test " and orange. Youtube also helped a lot , Science with Suzanna, Math review with Brendon Craft and Understanding the different types of sentences for the English.. reading is kind just read the passages and answer the best choice based on facts and not opinions if that makes sense. Are you taking the proctored exam?
  12. Yep, same person.. I already took my TEAS and am finishing up my Microbiology lab. Thats really the only thing besides the 3 letters of recommendation that are pending. Remember that the TEAS has to be overall 75% as well as each section.
  13. Hey, I'll be logged into the open house event as well.. I was able to get in contact with someone by calling the office and she was able to send me more in depth information.. apparently the person who oversees new admissions left abruptly so that's the reason for lack of communication.
  14. hey @Blueberry79, CONGRATS on your acceptance.. im looking to apply for the now Spring 2021 cohort. How was your experience with applying ? Pre reqs and TEAS scores?
  15. really appreciate it ! my biggest thing is scoring high on this TEAS next week LOL but the school website doesn't have much info on it so this site helps a lot
  16. Congratulations!! How do you like the program overall? Also how competitive is acceptance ?
  17. Hey everyone, thought id make this thread specifically for this school, I see this school is mentioned in other threads.. anyone else applying to this program or currently in ? How is/ was your application process?
  18. thanks I have looked into absn programs as well.. they seem to be a little pricey at the schools I've seen. I'm also hoping to take the TEAS in august for the same reason as you. As far as charles drew I was told it would be best to apply in sept.. not sure if you have facebook but I just came across this group that seems pretty helpful with the TEAS and whats on it ... I wish you the best on your journey!! https://www.facebook.com/groups/530395640963487/
  19. LOL! So im from the east coast so my choices are based by programs of course but also due to me wanting a change in environment for a while.. I'm applying to Seton hall as well as pace university but hoping for Charles drew ultimately just so I can get a way while studying. Are you from California? Also when do you think you're going to take the TEAS?
  20. haha same I guess we were asking for too much LOL
