Hello! Wanted to update. I’m an alternate and I just got my acceptance letter today!

My status just changed from pending to eligible and unselected for the lottery ?

A counselor told me that last year they went through all of the alternates. I’m sure that’s due to COVID though. I’m an alternate and still holding out hope! Any other alternates get picked so far?

Yes, I totally agree that there is not an exact order that they follow. My status last year changed a few days before they posted the lottery. I was a nervous wreck!

This is my second year applying. My last name starts with a B, my friend's last name starts with an R. I applied before her and her application got processed before mine. They say that it's done alphabetically but the applications seem to be processed at random. My status changed just a couple of days before the lottery was done. It was so nerve-wracking LOL.

I applied last year. I have a 4.0 with an 84 on the TEAS and another one of my friends had a 4.0 with a 94 on the TEAS. My friend who had a 4.0 and 80 on the TEAS as well as my cousin who had the minimum GPA and a 63.6 on her TEAS got in. My cousin and friend got pulled and the other friend with a 94 on his TEAS and I did not get pulled for the lottery. Unfortunately I think it’s all random lottery.

That’s exactly how I sent my official transcripts, through my school’s portal. I got an email from State the next day saying they received my official transcripts. If anyone has any questions definitely give Fresno State a call. I know of two people that missed the application period to apply on Cal State Apply this past fall. They both called State and were allowed to apply late. I personally like to email so that I have anything I’m told in writing. Wishing us all GOOD LUCK

Yes, sorry! I sent my official transcripts shortly after I applied to Cal State Apply only because I wasn't taking any classes for fall 2020. The deadline for the official transcripts to be sent to Fresno State was February( for the Cal State Apply application just for entry into Fresno State). I got the deadline via email after I submitted my application on Cal State Apply. I am trying to attach a flyer thing I saved that came with one of the emails. Yes, I had the same deadline. I didn't take any classes this past fall so I got the okay to send my official transcripts shortly after I submitted my application on Cal State Apply this past fall.

I spoke to some one in the nursing department at State about transcripts. They said no official transcripts for the TEAS. When I asked about other transcripts they said since official transcripts are required to apply for entry into State, they already have access to them when you apply for their nursing program. But I applied to State (this past fall) as a transfer, so if you are applying as anything other than a transfer I would double check with the nursing program people.

I just looked up Fresno State Fall 2020 on here and then looked through the pages to see what the stats were for the people who got accepted/not-accepted.

I applied for the nursing program at Fresno State as well as Fresno City recently. Comm 2 is accepted for transferring to State as well as the nursing program. I have talked to counselors at State to double and triple check.
