  1. Yes of course! ? I'll send you my IG username in the message I sent you
  2. I apologize for the late reply. Thank you! @RNzippidity ? Congrats to you as well!! I've heard that they'll start us off in postpartum for 6 months-1 year before having us go to L&D. I'm not sure if that's still part of the process tho And yes I am following the FB group!
  3. Hi @newgradnursing333 ? I received an offer two days after I received a rejection email. I received a rejection on 12/17 and got an offer on 12/19. I believe someone declined their offer and I was the backup. I will be working in the perinatal unit at RR
  4. Just checked and my app says closed. I applied for RR perinatal. I guess this is the end of the line for UCLA. Wishing everyone the best of luck on their nursing journey ? Remember that you're meant to be where you're meant to be. At least that's what makes me feel better ?
  5. Nope nothing on my end
  6. I have a friend that has worked at CHLA for the past 5 or 6 years. She said she loves it there but the pay isn't very good. To help you get an idea, I would make more per hour as a new grad at UCLA compared to her current hour rate at CHLA. Like almost $10 more. This same friend worked at UCLA while she was getting her RN license and she told me that the culture at CHLA was better than UCLA's. Of course everyone has their own experience and opinion but that's what my friend had shared with me
  7. Hi! Thank you for sharing this info ? do you mind sharing how much the pay rate for new grads is at your hospital?
  8. I am over this. I kinda don't want it anymore ?
  9. That's what I'm assuming. This was their response: "Thank you for reaching out. We should be notifying you in regards to the departments decisions by this Friday."
  10. They said we should receive decisions by this Friday so there’s still some hope left. LOL
  11. For those who have not heard any news yet, I have sent an email asking for an update. I will keep you posted!
  12. Has anyone tried emailing or calling them and asking for an update? I'm thinking about emailing them and letting you all know what they tell me. But if someone has already done so, I don't want to bombard them with another email. At this point I'm not expecting an offer but I want to hear it from them so I can move on with my life. LOL
  13. @DianaM. No portal change or offer here ?
  14. @Ari26 I haven't heard from RR perinatal yet ? also, when I try going to the page to log into my portal, it keeps saying error
  15. LOL yes they were terrible. I hate writing papers so it was the worst! But you can get through it! Yeah I would for sure look at what's the most affordable and fits best with your schedule. If you got accepted into a Cal State or CC, I would recommend going that route to say money
