    Thank you this helped a lot! I do have over a 3.0 GPA but it is still on a low end. I feel like most schools look at GPA as well as essays so it leaves me a bit worried. Would nursing clinical hours not count as experience or would you say that FNP programs mostly look for outside nursing experience aside from your clinical hours?

    Hi, I’m currently a nursing student about to graduate with my BSN. I’ve been looking at MSN programs to go into but the whole application process scares me. So far, I’ve been looking into Vanderbilt, Yale, and Columbia but I’m just worried about how people review your application because I’m not some 4.0 student. If anyone could share their experience with the application process, give some advice, or recommendations to other programs then I will forever be at your feet!
