  6. OMG !!yasssssss Im like 80% sure I got in then because I applied to Glendale first choice and EMCC second choice and my points were 82.77. Glendale needs to hurry with these emails LOL Im right in the middle of both schools and was having a hard time deciding where to apply. I kinda rolled the dice too and last minute went with Glendale. Looks like I should've gone with EMCC instead hahaha We could've been schoolmates ? LOL thanks for the info and again CONGRATS!!?

  12. You guys my anxiety was alright but this last time I checked my email like 30 mins ago I had an email from the acceptance team. Hello MaricopaNursing Student! First and foremost, we hope that you and your family are safe and healthy. We wanted to reach out to let you know about an exciting, short-term program that you may be interested in while you await placement. These are certainly trying times and confusing times. The need for additional healthcare workers grows everyday. We would like to introduce you to a certificate program that you can complete online through Paradise Valley CC. The program flyer has been attached to this email. Take a look when you have a free moment. Here are some of the jobs that this program can prepare you for: and I literally started panicking! Without thinking twice I emailed back and simply wrote, "Does this mean I'm not accepted to the cep?" ?? Then I relaxed and realized its probably referring to my traditional nursing app I submitted in April 2019 because it was a mass generic email lmao Or at least I hope so!! Now im stressing. I was ready to apply in January 2020 but I had cold feet and wasn't sure if I wanted to pursue nursing. I would've gotten in for sure last round with my points. So if I don't get in this time I'm really going to hate myself !! LOL
  13. no I haven't. I reached out to ASU last week and asked them what my GPA was and they confirmed they received my app.But I haven't received any acceptance email from them.
  14. This is the email I got a couple days after I submitted the app. Congratulations! You have successfully submitted your CEP application. Your application has now been reviewed and processed. Please read through the following information regarding the next steps in the CEP application process. Your application will be reviewed by the university. If you meet their minimum requirements, the university will approve your application. This does not mean you have been accepted into CEP. Applications will be scored using a grading rubric, which will determine placement at the Maricopa Community College. Applications are graded using a 100-point scale. GPA – 40 points possible (calculated by the university, not Maricopa) HESI A2 English Composite score – 35 points possible HESI A2 math score – 15 points possible Previous degree – 10 points possible (based on highest degree awarded), Associate = 2.5, Bachelors = 5, Masters = 7.5, Doctorate = 10 Previous healthcare experience, letters of recommendation, etc., will not be used to determine placement and should not be included with your application. Each application will be scored with the above rubric. The applicants with the highest scores will be the first placed, until all seats are filled. If you are accepted you will be notified through your Maricopa student email by the college that has accepted you. There is no guarantee that you will be accepted by your first college or cohort choice. Placement is determined by the score received on your application. Emails regarding acceptance are tentatively scheduled to be sent the week of June 22, 2020, and will be continued to be sent until all seats are filled. This process can take some time as there are several rounds of acceptance emails sent. Declination emails are tentatively scheduled to be sent to those not accepted starting the week of July 16, 2020. If you have not heard anything by July 23, 2020, you may contact the Nursing District Office at [email protected]. Please note: these dates may change due to unforeseen circumstances. If you are accepted, Block 1 at the Maricopa Community College will begin in Spring 2021, while most university courses will start online in Fall 2020. MaricopaNursing advisors will not be able to discuss rubric scores or information regarding placement until after all acceptance and declination emails are sent. Please continue to check your Maricopa student email regularly. Thank you for your patience through the application process. Regards, GCC Nursing Department
  15. Yes ! You are absolutely right. When looking at these groups for past application periods, there were a TON of people posting. This post is significantly less active.
