  1. I applied with 3.8 Nursing GPA, 2 years of experience in the ICU/step-down/floor, strong letters of recommendations, and medical missions/volunteering. I also spent a lot of time on my personal statement/statement of purpose. I think it really helps to be able to know why you want to pursue a certain specialty based on your experiences.

  3. Hi Everyone! Just created a fb group for us so we can share info more easily! Its under UCLA APRN class of 2022.
  4. I still havent heard anything... anyone get the scholarship prompt yet?

  6. Aha!! I found it too. Thanks so much! ?
  7. Hi everyone, I got accepted to the FNP program for the Fall as well. Very excited!! I know that some of you guys are considering taking the research class (nursing 204) during the Summer to lighten up the load. But wouldn't we not have enough credits to be considered full time? Are you guys planning to take a different class to make up for that in the Fall? Thanks in advance!!
  8. I agree with FullGlass. USC definitely has gathered some good leadership from top universities, but I don't think it's worth that tuition to go to a school that is not established yet. I would hate to be a guinea pig. Thank you everyone for your replies!! It was very helpful
  9. Hi everyone, I recently got accepted to USC, UCLA, and possibly CSULB for their FNP programs. Other than the cost, what were some reasons you guys chose a certain school? Has anyone here completed the FNP program at any of the schools? I'd love some insight and how classes/professors/clinicals were. Thanks in advance!
