Anyone heard back (or know anyone) that has heard back from the PICU?

Hey all! I know a few people who have gotten offers from CICU, ER, etc. Has anyone heard any updates from the PICU ? ? That is where I applied and have not heard back.

Hey there, I am a new grad nurse starting in the PICU! Would love ~ANY~ advice you guys have to offer! I am worried because I still have one semester left, but our preceptorship which is 200+ hours could end up being online. Any advice or tips of what to look at, common medications to know in the PICU, or really anything that nursing school doesn't cover that I could review beforehand. I understand it will be a huge learning curve, and I just want to be the most prepared I can be! Thank you!

I also heard there is a hiring freeze from someone that works there. Hopefully it will be lifted in May!

Hey everyone! I just got offered a job in the PICU at UVA. I was wondering if anyone had any experience working at UVA, or in the PICU, that could speak to what the hospital is like. Any advice for a new grad going in? ~And any other new grads starting at UVA? ?
