  1. Hello I have been a nurse for 8 years. Most of my experience is in pediatrics. I have been most recently doing presurgical phone calls (adults) and triage (Peds). I am looking for a change and have an interview for a Case Manager position with an insurance company. I have been applying for this type of position for years, but this is my first interview. I’m looking for help from nurses in this position to tell me what companies usually look for in a candidate, What you like best about your job and any other information you can give me. I do not have any case manager background besides about a year in pediatric home health. I also seem to have a hard time in interviews explaining why I would be a good fit for this type of position with my pediatric background. Any help would be appreciated!
  2. I work 2 pool positions with in the same system. One making phone calls for surgeries and the other in the clinic. With reduced surgeries, I am getting cut from my position. Do pool positions qualify for unemployment?
