  1. Anyone hear anything about nursing program classes being remote or hybrid Spring semester with Covid cases rising? Just wondering how that will all play out...
  2. Not sure if this means anything but my NHCC letter said November 7th was the deadline to accept and hold your spot. Which was weird to me because I had November 2nd in my head as well...not sure if it was only NHCC that said the the 7th 8n their letters though...
  3. I'm so sorry this happened to you. I was rejected last semester due to a similar issue although I guess it was completely on me because I sent over an "unofficial transcript" rather than an official transcript of one of my prior colleges. Even though none of those classes were requirements for nursing (took like world music, and film studies), they still rejected it. Your issue is really frustrating because a 6 credit anatomy class should at the very least cover your A&P 1 class which is only 4 credits. And the mane program only requires that A&P 1 be done prior to starting the program...is there anyway you could do a course appeal to count it as A&P 1? I did one this past Summer for the communications class and it was successful. Then your admission would just be contigent on the course appeal going through. That seems no different then offering contingency acceptances based on people completing their fall semester classes before the nursing school starts. Also, didn't you say someone from the school said your application looked good? I would follow up with that person, because that is not acceptable on their part.
  4. Woo!! Excited for you! Waiting for the update!! ?
  5. That makes sense. Happy to know there are fellow moms in this group going back to school! It's encouraging! And yes, I only applied to one schooI. Not sure why I put all my eggs in one basket, but I did haha. Let us know what you decide! ?
  6. Hahaa! Yes same, told quite a few people too. I guess I'd have to down a bottle of wine and make a few family phone calls....yikes. Fingers crossed though! Where's your first choice again Kelsey?
  7. Unless of course the letters were accidental too....yikes LOL.
  8. Acceptance letter for NHCC came today! They mailed out sooner than I was expecting! Anyone else that is waiting or has been accepted, we should connect! Best of luck everyone!! This was my second go around. Nice to have that over with haha.
  9. Anyone here apply to NHCC?
  10. Random question. How do you all think Covid 19 will affect the fall 20 and Spring 21 progams? Has anyone heard anything about distance learning or online clinicals? I'm a paramedic in an ER that is an option for NHCC clinicals...and I worry that a no visitor/student policy will extend into the Winter season. I know things are changing each day, just wondering if anyone accepted into a mane program this year has heard any information from their advisors? Do you feel like your being kept in dark? Just curious as I will be applying for Spring 21, and wanted to hear other's thoughts on this!
  11. Update: My rejection was based on a transcript error. I sent in one of my official transcripts through my own personal email and they said it had to be sent to them directly from the other school, so my application was considered incomplete. So it was a really silly mistake on my end. Oh well, apply again in June I guess!! Good luck everyone else!
  12. Sorry my last post was a reply to An5985. Has anyone been waitlisted or accepted at NHCC yet?
  13. I'm really sorry! I'm calling tomorrow to see what happened...maybe I forgot something like a transcript? I would think that they would send out all the rejections at once, you still might be good! Did you apply anywhere else?
  14. I received a rejection letter today from NHCC. GPA was 4.0 and TEAS score was 84%. I did the essay, and the letter said my application was done correctly. I honestly thought I would atleast get waitlisted. Must be really competitive this year.
