  1. Nice to hear others talk about DPH and SNF's. I've got a question. I just took on a new position as an SDC in a SNF. I'ld like a list of the 12 competencies that need to be done yearly. Your help is greatly appreciated. Vanessa:redpinkhe

  3. I'm not sure what state you are from but here in Mass; I'm an LPN and I handle a medicare population of no more than 24; and I'm happy to say I'm making 78 grand a year.
  4. Don't Worry; I'm a Nurse Case Manager and in Mass all fractures get reported to the state. It's routine.
  5. Hi Everyone, I've been an LPN for 10years and just want to get those RN initials after my name. I'm considering home study with the College Network and Excelsior College. Does anyone have any feedback on this way of obtaining my RN. Your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks again Vanessa

Hi Everyone; New here. Huge debate at my facility regarding C Diff. We do not have an "Infection Control Nurse" at this time. The setting is a SNF; great rehab facility. Here's my dilemma. I always thought that in a room with two patients; that the person with the cdiff uses the bathroom and the person without the cdiff uses a commode. I searched the medicare quidelines and can only find to use a private room or co-habitat. Please clarify. Your help is greatly appreciated. Vanessa
