  1. I definitely praise you for entering into NNP @Fost_leanne!! I just know I couldn’t endure it!
  2. Just my opinion, but I feel NNP is so much more critical than a primary PNP, and I have only worked NICU for a year (and been a nurse for a year), so I don’t feel that I would ever even be one bit comfortable with NNP until being a NICU nurse for at least 10 years. I also am wanting more of a clinic life job (more suitable to being a mom and raising a family), focusing on prevention of illness and developmental milestones for pediatrics.

  4. Yeah I’m sure they select for DNP first, as there probably aren’t as many! I am sure you will be accepted!
  5. I feel like they do DNP first, because not as many apply to DNP, as they do MSN. @pearls08 did you apply for DNP?
  6. I was accepted to UAB’s BSN-DNP Primary Pediatric NP program for this fall!
