Mama to a 4 year old girl.
Yoga keeps me sane.
Was in publishing for the first 15 years of my adult life and at 36 when my daughter was born started to take pre-reqs to get into nursing school. I was supposed to start in Jan 2019 but was in a traumatic accident that took away about 18 months of life and recovery but now I'm back in the game! Received my CNA license in 2017 and worked as a PCT on med/surge at Texas Health for six months. Took some time off after my accident. Was hired on as a PRN PCT at Methodist Dallas in an outpatient clinic and recently was promoted to a NRCMA medical assistant and clinic coordinator. I love learning and can't wait to have this whole new community of people to serve others with.
I'd like to end up as a mental health nurse practitioner and experiential therapist but may head into SANE nursing as both are very meaningful fields to me. Currently I work in high risk Maternal Fetal medicine and I love it!
