  1. Did you weigh out the pros and cons of each program? Like reputation, NCLEX pass rates, distance from home, costs, etc.? You have to pick what’s best for you. You shouldn’t leave that responsibility to anyone else. Only you know what is best for you. You may be able to contact students who are currently in both programs and ask about their experiences but keep in mind that it’s THEIR experience. You may not have the same experience as they do. Whatever program you choose, you’re still going to have to work hard and prove to yourself that you deserve to be there.
  2. I put in a request. I’m S. Hare
  3. I couldn't find it. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
  4. I got an acceptance email as well!
  5. Has anyone heard anything yet?
  6. A thought just occurred to me. I wonder if nursing students will be able to complete their clinicals? Some schools have been shut down until the end of the month. This virus has certainly made it’s impact.
  7. No, I haven’t. If we don’t hear anything tomorrow, then we probably won’t hear anything until after Spring break.
  8. Mountain View without any hesitation ?
  9. Which school do you prefer to go to?
  10. No, but I applied to El Centro as well.
  11. You’re probably overthinking it. I believe interviews ended today so hopefully we’ll hear something soon. Hopefully next week but the interviewer told me 3 weeks which would make the notices come around the 23rd. It probably won’t be next week though now that I’m thinking about it because I believe that’s Spring break.
  12. If you go to the Texas Board of Nursing website, in 2018 they only had 27 sit for the NCLEX in 2018 and 38 in 2019. That's a very small number compared to El Centro and Brookhaven. That still doesn't deter me though. If I'm one of the lucky few who last throughout the program, I would be confident that I would pass the NCLEX due to their pass rates.
  13. How the assistant was talking, she led me to believe that there weren't as many applicants this time around. She was talking like she was confident that most who applied would be accepted as long as you didn't bomb the interview. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
  14. I think it went well but I can't say that I'm 100% certain of anything. I was nervous too but I think they know that is what's expected. I was also told that we would be getting our confirmation emails in about 3 weeks. So, I'm thinking about maybe around March 23rd?? I get nervous just thinking about it.
  15. I was told by one of the interviewers that they were accepting 55.
