  1. that’s ridiculous! They didn’t email you or anything?!
  2. So I believe that they are going to ask you about your knowledge of the roles the nurse plays in the perioperative setting. so make sure you know what a circulating nurse does and their role, what the scrub nurse does, the first assist…. During my prescreening I got asked questions like “why Methodist”, “why this specialty”, “why nursing”, “a time you went above and beyond”, “a time you made a mistake…how did you learn from it”, “a time you had a difficult situation/patient”…. things like that Hope it helps!!
  3. I turned it down because it starts in January and I needed a later start date (in the event I got an offer). I am noticing that in general the system just seems to move slow and drag their feet. I’m sure they have a lot going on
  4. Willowbrook and then I got invited to interview with TMC Perioperative but I turned it down.
  5. Has anyone heard back? I did the prescreening for mother/baby, l&d, and emergency department.. did an in-person interview for l&d (but I don’t know how I feel about it; think it could’ve gone better).
  6. Good luck to all and CONGRATS!
  7. Yea I don’t have any classes in progress. I finished my prereqs in fall.
  8. This is what mine looked like. I didn’t see anything that mentioned how long one had to accept or decline.
  9. I am accepted. I have had such a rough year with surgeries and pain....and I didn’t know I would make it. I am so grateful!
  10. I submitted my application for fall but there seemed to be a glitch in the system bc I didn’t get to sign the application.... it went straight to payment. Has this happened to anyone before?
  11. I’m doing the same thing.
  12. I too attended the online session and thought they’d do it in the beginning of March. They said they would let us know so that we would have time to apply to Fall. Well, at this point, I will continue my application for UTMB. I have been holding off paying for the transcript entry because I believed that we’d know this week. Spring break is next week right? They really pushed it back far! Last year they found out starting March 5th.
  13. I will be bald before they send anything
  14. No word as of yet. The suspense is killing me....
  15. Oh geezs, I don’t know where I heard the 5th then...but it has been sticking in my head as to when I’d start excessively checking and refreshing my browser. Since I am taking money out of an investment account for school, I sincerely hope that doesn’t happen to me, LOL the money needs to be in my bank account and I'd need more than two weeks.
  16. Nope, maybe too soon? I was thinking the 5th was when we may start hearing back because the last Summer cohort started to hear back on the 8th. Good luck. I am super nervous.
  17. As dmikedan mentioned...If you didn’t receive one, chances are you are not missing anything. I didn’t receive one.
  18. I decided that it was time to say hi! I have been snooping around and reading post. I submitted my application at the beginning of december for Summer 2020. My Stats.
