Does anyone know if there is a Baylor St. Luke’s Summer new grad groupme? Also, does anyone know when the start date is for their Summer cohort?

I am but I haven’t gotten a link for woman’s, but I got one for the Kingwood location I’m also interviewing at earlier this afternoon!

Yeah, has anyone heard anything about what they’re planning on doing about the TMC Summer cohort? Fall apps open in a couple days for Methodist?

This is for Houston Methodist at their TMC location. I’m not sure if it is affecting their other campuses in the same way since I’m pretty sure people have already gotten offers at some of them, but hopefully the email they told me they’d send out today will explain things with more detail! Definitely not news I wanted to hear tho ?

Yeah it’s true that they delayed the residency ? I just got a call about it from HR and we’re supposed to get an email about it later today. I interviewed yesterday and my interviewer warned me that it was a possibility. When I got the call from HR just now they told me they already had my scorecard so if/when they resume the program again for Summer then they’d just review that, and continue forward if I was chosen but they said if they decide to continue with Summer at a later date they’ll call people back who haven’t interviewed yet

I’m still waiting on St. Luke’s, but I heard from Methodist TMC around 4ish this afternoon about scheduling my second interview so I think they’re finally starting to move forward with their interviews!

Yeah I was shocked too when she said it but I repeated the date back to her to confirm that it was May 21st and she said yes? I should’ve asked this on the phone but I wonder if they’re trying to switch it back to in-person or something or why else it got pushed back so much

I had emailed her yesterday about switching units for my interview and she called me this morning to clarify which ones I would now be interviewing for and then told me at the end of our conversation that it was postponed until May. I’d guess they’ll probably email everyone I think she just told me over the phone since we were already talking about which unit I was switching my interview to. But not totally sure!

She said the whole hiring event is moved to that date so I think it’s for all locations!

I just talked to ****** (the HCA recruiter) on the phone to get my unit interview times and apparently the interviews have been postponed to May 21st and are no longer happening this Thursday!

I haven’t either! I emailed --------------------- to follow up and she said with COVID-19 the process is taking a lot longer than expected and that they’d just made a handful of calls on Thursday and Friday of last week but they still had to make most of them. She didn’t say when they’d be making the rest of the calls though

Were all the offers this far for med surg only? Or did anyone get offers to other units?

For those of y’all that have done Methodists prescreening, is it just like a get-to-know-you and unit preferences and stuff, or is it more behavioral questions?

Yeah, I am originally from Houston but I go to school OOS at the University of Alabama. That's super nice that they're doing that though, I had no idea they'd try to accommodate people who were outside of town!

I applied for the Transplant floor as my first choice and I believe I put women’s services or something as my other option but my invite says “acute care” for days and/or nights. But acute care wasn’t a category when I registered for Methodist so I feel like the prescreening could be for anything at the TMC maybe?

Just got an invite for Houston Methodists TMC location to do a prescreening interview by technology sometime during next week. I didn’t get an invite for the TMC on the March 5th event (I only got an invite for Methodist West on that date) so maybe they’re sending out more invites to others as well! ?

Has anyone heard anything new from Texas Children’s since the update last week saying there was a delay? It was my understanding we were supposed to hear something this week and I haven’t heard anything yet ?

I also put CVICU first and PICU second and haven't heard anything yet. I'm hoping PICU and hem/onc are the only units that have sent invites out! Has anyone gotten an open house/ interview for the CVICU at TCH?
