They probably prefer us to be prepared and ready to pay that day, but honestly if someone doesn't have the money they have to understand. I am pretty sure they will be understanding since it is the first semester and at the beginning and we are all students and some are waiting for financial aid, I agree it is very pricey. I would email Eileen though if you are concerned there are 60 others, so I am sure there are others in that similar situation, me included. They can't shake us down LOL.

I waited and they finally sent the email in the afternoon. I think someone commented that they had their orientation on the 17th and I have mine on the 15th. I wonder why they have three different dates?

Yeah, hopefully they will. Has anybody got any email for dog days, they are supposed to email us a week before, but I feel like sometimes I don’t get the emails and I was just curious to know if anyone got anything?

Nothing new, just waiting for the dog days stuff. Also, I am kind of confused on how classes and clinical are going to be, are they going to both be online or is it just classes?

No, I haven’t gotten anything new aside from the Dog Days stuff. I wish that they would update us a little more, but I get that it is not the conventional situation. I just want to know all the stuff we have to prepare before the program starts. Anyways, I wanted to ask if anyone had suggestions or had heard suggestions from other students on things we should buy, I have been watching supply hauls on Youtube and trying to find info about the Fresno State Nursing program on the internet but I couldn’t find anything. So if anybody has a suggestion on things to buy or be prepared for could you please give me some suggestions? Thank you. : )

Thanks, yeah that is interesting. I wonder how they are going to do that because they were talking about the classrooms where the lectures for exempt classes would take place and they said that in a class where they would normally fit 30 they would only be able to seat five now, IDK if I made any sense, but I was just curious how that would translate to a clinical settings.

I recently saw on the news that Fresno State will be online for the Fall 2020 semester and I was just curious if anyone had heard anything about the online thing being applied the Nursing Program as well or if it was an exception. Ashmov97, hopefully you can get in, maybe as we get closer to the start of the semester some individuals will go to programs that are closer to them. I have heard that a lot of campuses have been delaying admission because of the whole COVID situation, hopefully there are individuals who are still waiting to hear back from other schools that are more convenient to them.

I know I find the waiting to be very frustrating, in particular as you mentioned above that they are not updating students.

CONGRATS again to any that got in! I just had a question for people on the alternate list, I was just wondering if anybody has heard anything from the college? I think yesterday was the first day to accept/decline and I think that the next time it is on the 3rd, correct me if I am wrong. I was just curious as I saw that the last fall application cycle, the day after the first day to decline/accept alternates had been receiving news. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for that, was Fresno State your first choice? It was mine and so it is very disappointing that I was placed on the alternate list, I was considering calling and asking what got me placed on the alternate list I thought I had decent stats. Also, not to be explicit but that is really *** of them to say we are out of luck, as many of us have worked hard. I hope they can improve on that and I wish you the best of luck.

CONGRATS to the individuals who got in. People on the alternate list, has anyone tried to contact the school through the email or phone number provided on the email informing you of your status to see what number on the waitlist you maybe. I am on the alternate list, and I was thinking about contacting them just to ask if they could give me the number I was on the alternate list. Also, if you don't mind listing your stats. My stats: Overall GPA - 3.8 (Not originally a nursing major I was a bio major before) 8 classes/Nursing GPA - 4.0 TEAS Score - 86.7

Hello, I was just curious, in regards to transfer students, if your university application status has changed, a couple days have passed and mine has remained the same. Thank you in advance.

I was wondering though, I got the preview day card thing in the mail and I was kind of curious why they would send that out before accept/decline dates? I am not saying that me receiving that card for preview day means I have been accepted to the university, but I am not sure that they would send that postcard to students that have not gotten into the school, I think that would kind of be rude. Anybody else get this, and is this card sent to all students that applied or only accepted ones?

Mine has not, I have been checking everyday and the only thing it says is that a decision has not been made. On the website it said results could be out on the 15th of March up until June, I think. Finger crossed that Fresno State puts results out tomorrow, but with the virus situation that maybe put back.

Did they mention anything about releasing the results sooner if they finish earlier? Also, everyone stay safe.

WOW!! Good job everyone! I just submitted my application yesterday, I am really nervous, I hate having to wait for so long to find out the results. For transfers, has anybody heard from the university itself on admissions?
