For those of you that got interview was it on the 15th or 16th? Trying to figure out how many people they're interviewing LOL. With the schedule they sent out for the 15th it is two 2 hr interview time slots, so 4hrs total for the whole day. If they only do one interview day and 20 mins per individual interview that's abt 12 people interviewing? if it's two days it would be 24 they said they were admitting 18 so either the individual interviews are really short or they're doing multiple at the same time. (Which I don't think bc from the email it looks like a panel)

Yea I also emailed her a bit ago (around March 10th I think) and she said interviews will go out "very soon" , before April 1st, and she also verified the interview dates as April 15/16. I feel like they would've sent an email out if they were going to change the processing timeline but IDK. I was very hopeful we'd hear back before April 1st ? hopefully the admin people weren't right abt the timeline bc a few more weeks is alot?

That's great thank you so much for clarifying that! I was starting to stress bc I live out of state and it would be hard coordinating if they sent out interview invites in April LOL. Did you reply back to the person who sent the email? I've been trying to contact them through the general admissions email but haven't gotten a response. I was wondering if I should email the person who sent the email this morning instead

Yea I saw that, I wonder if they will still be reviewing applications in the mean time/ contacting people for interviews or if they will wait after the April deadline ? I feel like maybe they didn't have enough applicants actually submit complete/verified applications too since they extended the entire app a whole month instead of just a week or two

Hi guys! does anyone who attended the info sessions remember if they said when they would contact people for interviews? I'm guessing it should be in the next two weeks since applications close today and they said they'd have interviews on the 15th/16th of April.. good luck to everyone applying!

I tried to focus on not listening to others' answers because it would get me off track. For my ICU interview, it was not the same questions like the ones on the interview prep meeting but they were kinda similar. Make sure to have a paper so you can write down the main points of the questions. They only say it once but if you didn't hear it just ask them to repeat it.

If you search up the hospital name and interview questions they should come up. It was almost exactly the same. All where behavioral based on previous experiences. The first thing they asked me was why nursing and I was able to answer that really well and got them to laugh which cracked the ice. The most important thing you can do is practice a bit ( I literally only practiced the morning of) and be yourself! on how I got CVICU, I did a paid Externship in the cvicu but my preceptorship was nuero/medical ICU , and I spent my last semester rotating in trauma/surgical/cardiac/nuero for one of my clinicals. I also worked as a tech in a surgical ICU. Towards the end of the interview they asked me which ICU out of all the ones I’d been in I liked the most and I said I really loved CVICU but I’d be happy to work in any. That was the only time I really stressed cvicu during my interview bc I didn’t want to only go for one specific and not get an offer. But if you only want cvicu I’d just let them know! good luck on your interview!!
