  1. NY- Am I in the clear?

    Hi all, So I recently graduated from an ADN program, and when we received our NCLEX applications my heart sank. I struggled with addiction in my younger years, and have two misdemeanor convictions from 2008 and 2010. I spent countless nights on these message boards looking for a hope shot that all my hard work wouldn’t be for nothing. I met with an attorney, wrote a letter explaining my background and crossed my fingers. I passed the NCLEX on 2/6, and figured I would have to wait awhile, possibly have a hearing in front of the BON. Tonight I randomly decided to plug my name in the license lookup and it popped up WITH A LICENSE NUMBER. I feel like this can’t be right as I just sat for the exam a few weeks ago! Can I start applying to hospitals?
