Just curious on feedback of the program you’ve heard directly from previous FCC nursing students? You can PM me if needed. I’ve heard lots of cons, hoping there’s some pros out there ?

Application status: Complete Evaluation status: Pending Last Name: G Submitted: 1/23/22 This is my 3rd time applying. And no, they have never gone in alphabetical order from the previous attempts I have experienced. They say they do, but it hasn't happen the last 2 years. Good luck everyone.

That would be true if that many took the poll. I think it said like 27 took the poll, unless I’m reading it wrong?

Soooooooo no one got selected???? I’m thinking there maybe an issue cause the pages keep changing.. lottery has been conducted and now it says it hasn’t... I have yet to hear of anyone here or on FB or friends say they actually have a selected status!??? The one person who said they did on here hasn’t responded. I think everyone should keep checking through tomorrow.

OK thanks. I don’t get why mine is taking so long. Nothing changed since last year and I qualified then. It should of been easy to process mine you would think?

Nope. It sounds like it’s if they’re offering you a seat and that doesn’t happen until April.

@Darkascension I’ve looked in Florida, Texas and Oklahoma. Are you referring to a state community college cost difference or UC? I got a quote from Florida and with my units, it would be 18k for out of state for an ADN but I would bridge online for 10k. Still Under the cost of national and SJVC! The cost of living in those states are half of what it is here too.

I’m still pending. I reached out to ask if there’s an issue with the system just to make sure and was told “wait for the lottery, it hasn’t been conducted yet”, even though I was only asking for the status change for eligibility. Apparently my question wasn’t clear enough...??? No offense, but you shouldn’t manifest at all. There’s over 1000 applicants and they only take 220 and it’s via “lottery”. This is my 2nd time applying. They did the same thing to me last year. I changed a few days before they conducted the lottery. It’s not worth stressing over and it’s completely out of your control. You’ve done what is required to apply, now it’s the waiting game unfortunately. I have also discovered that it is highly likely that our area is the only one that operates like this and takes months to give answers while other schools out of state give results in weeks after the period has closed. I’m looking to go out of state because of how crappy it is here. Again, I in no way are trying to hurt your feelings. Just saying the truth.

No, it’s not. I emailed mine and my status hasn’t changed. Like I said, they say alpha order but it’s not. It wasn’t last year. If you qualified last year then there’s no reason why you don’t this year.

Mine still says pending also. This is the repeat process of last year. They say they go in alpha order but they don’t. Wish they would stop saying that! And..... last year my status didn’t change until a few days before the “lottery date”. As long as you qualify, the status will change eventually.

2nd time applicant. Last year they said they go in alpha order but they didn’t. I know someone with a letter after my last name and my first name who’s status changed to eligible but mine hasn’t. Last year it was super close to when they announced the “winners”. Nothing to stress about. Unfortunately with FCC, you just sit and wait and hope. ? good luck everyone. Last name starts with G.
