For anyone currently attending the program, do you mind sharing your experience thus far? I am applying for nursing schools and considering CSUN once again. I would like to know as much as I can about this program from the students in it. Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!

do you guys think everyone that got in got the email today? or are they sending them out gradually? Just trying to understand the way their acceptances work. CONGRATS to those who got in!!

thank you so much for checking. I wonder if the emails are sent altogether at once or gradually. they said anywhere from 35-45 do im not sure.

Did you recently apply for financial aid or a while ago? maybe this is sent to applicants whose fafsa just got processed. Because mine already got processed a few months back.

has anyone been selected for an interview? Just checking in case, because their description says that some applicants may be chosen to be interviewed.

I am super confused now because when I sent my email I was told that they'll let us know May (prop towards the end of May) and someone else also emailed a different person and they said that letters will be sent out late June, maybe even July. So frustrating I am so lost with what is happening with this program and when we will know if we got in or not.

I'm so confused. I emailed someone from the department and they said late May. I really don't know at this point.

Doesn't seem like they are canceling it. I emailed them and they stated that they plan on letting us know our status at the end of May.

I emailed them right now and got a response saying that they are expected to send out acceptances late May.

I know I completely feel the same and it sucks not knowing an exact date of when they'll let us know. When I emailed however, they said that they are most likely to continue on with the program. It seemed to me that they were not planning on canceling, but who knows.

That voice message is old, they have 2 cohorts now. The Spring 2020 cohort deadline is sometime in the Summer I believe late June from what I remember, but email the school to make sure.

I have no idea. It used to be around May, but now I can't even contact the school because no one is answering the phone. They have been silent as far as I know. Hopefully we'll get an update soon because this is super frustrating for everyone.

Hello! So the reason I decided to apply for an ABSN was because it was cheaper and it is a shorter commitment. I felt as though and ELMSN was kind of a scam since you will not be able to practice as a nurse practitioner and will have to pursue another MSN, which is kind of ridiculous since it is so much more expensive. You'll end up as an RN regardless, so I thought an ABSN was a more logical decision.

they said they received a lot this time...this is the only program I applied to I hope I get in.
