  1. I’ve been told they will send out emails regardless of the decision. So they should be sending you something to let you know one way or another
  2. I don’t think so! Mine came an hour ago, it looks like, so they’re probably going through them now. Fingers crossed for you!
  3. YESSSS ME TOO! ugh that’s such a relief!
  4. Unfortunately, we aren’t a priority for them right now. Their main concern is the current classes and figuring out how everything will play out in the coming months. The people that review the applications also have other jobs within the campus that they need to do; many of them have been pulled to help with current students. I know it’s frustrating, and it feels like they don’t care, but they still need to re-evaluate basically their entire structure as a campus and business. just hold on a little longer, guys!
  5. Haha you can always post! If people get annoyed, they can turn off notifications. That’s how I feel at least. The other day I got a notification on my watch that had the email icon and just the subject line. It said “congrat....” my heart dropped and I ran to get my phone. Turns out it was a spam email for an Amazon gift card ?
  6. I really hope they don’t push the projected date out again!! This last full week of April is making me stress again! their updated said the letters are “expected” to go out by the end of April, and there hasn’t been another update yet, so I think I’m starting to get my hopes up again ?
  7. That’s awesome!! were you part of the HESI facebook study group? I scored really well on A&P, and scored 89 on all other sections, but my critical thinking was one point away from giving me points. I didn’t do well on that section at all. I think I’m at 75 points with the residency, so I’m super nervous.
  8. Thank you both!!
  9. Same!! I get married on the 14th, so I have so much stressing me out ? I’m more nervous about my application, though!!
  10. Yess! I’m hoping they get back to some of us sooner! Last year, A friend of mine found out after 3 weeks!!
  11. Yeeeesss I’m loving that service region!!! im surprised the CT score was so heavily weighted. Mainly because all the CT questions required quite a bit of knowledge, even if you do know how to prioritize cases! Applications close March 1, so we don’t know yet! But hopefully we will know within the next 4-6 weeks!
  12. Same here!! I think my CT was Right on. my A&P was a 96, so that definitely helped even out my lower CT score. This was a few weeks ago, but I called the main line, and asked them to send me to the right department. They honestly might have just sent me to admissions, without realizing that’s not who I needed. either way, it’s making me nervous. The school they need it from is out of state, and I haven’t attended there in a few years. I have to call their help desk to get my log in info, and I’m traveling this weekend for a wedding!! Nursing is Already stressing me out, and I’m not even in yet ?
  13. They’ve been very responsive to me, so I would call to confirm. You’ll get an answer faster that way, I think. I just found out today that they don’t, in fact, have my previous college transcripts on file, so I’m freaking out trying to get that sent out ASAP. I guess whomever I Spoke to on the phone was only looking at my general admissions, and not my application. They told me everything was in. I’m so worried now!!
  14. Did you apply for the RN and LPN?
  15. No worries! I know the acceptance all depends on the amount of people and the scores that cycle. it gets more and more competitive each year, I assume.
  16. I was never told that, it was someone else up the thread that commented about that!
  17. So I was told by Nancy, the nursing advisor, as well as the testing supervisor. I’m not sure if that’s actually her title, but she’s who I messaged to get the average results of those that were accepted last year. I was told they only consider the one you want, but they still see both attempts. I feel like that kind of defeats the purpose of telling them which one to consider, if you know what I mean.
  18. Thanks!! I hope so too! It’s too late for me to test, because of timing, but I think I did well enough on my first one. mid you take it twice, you still have to submit them both, so I feel like it might be counter productive in my case. I’m in that sweet spot between having a really good score, and possibly getting too low the next time
  19. I did the same. And my signature didn’t translate to the PDF for the checklist, so I looked like an idiot when I sent it in!! Oh well, I was able to resubmit everything without a problem. my CT wasn’t great either. I scored above the benchmark, but right at the point where it didn’t give me any points to get in. I was like “dafuq?”
  20. This is a thread for all Lord Fairfax Community College hopefuls for the 2020 application cycle. RN or LPN, I want to hear from you guys!! What are your hopes, fears, concerns, etc!
